    Some people like to not get their hands dirty or they like their exclusives, many people(myself included) buy a console mostly for exclusives(Nintendo ftw). Others are simply ignorant, or just want to play party games like FIFA/PES/2K etc on their living room with some friends.

    I play mostly competitive pokemon nowadays, meaning I value stats/movesets more than the "bond" I have over a pokemon. But when I play the main story for the first time, I keep the same team around, train it etc. For your situation tho, you could use one of the hitmon family as a "bodyguard". You could also use a garchomp for type coverage and all in all being an exotic pet.

    I uninstalled Ubuntu for now and merged my partitions again, will try again later. Yes I run windows and ubuntu in EFI mode, but I didn't give it the /EFI mount point. This was propably the error that I was getting from boot-repair. SecureBoot was enabled and I couldn't disable it. Do you have a link on how to EFI install linux?

    So, I installed Ubuntu last night and there is a problem, I can't launch/install the grub2 loader to boot into ubuntu, it just straight up boots to Windows 10. I've disabled fast boot but it still happens. Also it's UEFI. At school atm, so I can't answer immidiately.

    G410 uses Romer G switches where as the G710+ uses MX Switches. Personally I'd go for the G710+ since I prefer MX Switches more.

    Debian = Professional and has a lot of networking support. Ubuntu = Good interface etc.

    Got the opportunity to try out MX Red switches. Was not impressed. Seems like MX Browns are the perfect fit for me, time to save up money for that Rapid-I.
