  1. Hi I am trying to get a link to an LTT video of an Apple product or software update, I can't remember which it was. Basically, he went on a small rant on why progress bars are missing for file transfers so you just have to guess when the action has been completed. Finding the video will be very helpful
  2. Edit- Recommendations for Fiio were all over the place and this is the only product of theirs I could find available, will this cut it or too underpowered? -https://www.amazon.in/FiiO-BTR1K-Headphone-Bluetooth-Receiver/dp/B07JM5ZQPF/ref=sxin_0_ac_d_rm?ac_md=0-0-Zmlpbw%3D%3D-ac_d_rm&cv_ct_cx=fiio&dchild=1&keywords=fiio&pd_rd_i=B07JM5ZQPF&pd_rd_r=cb24a42d-ac22-415a-80f8-14974b8ece00&pd_rd_w=DHVDV&pd_rd_wg=HCRLh&pf_rd_p=db70632f-7954-4e73-a9ee-5cfefdeeb068&pf_rd_r=GH391W8X2Y1D0XJVY0RQ&psc=1&qid=1590823396&sr=1-1-fe323411-17bb-433b-b2f8-c44f2e1370d4 Sorry if I sound ignorant, it's because I am. I am getting an HD 599 as my employer is bearing the cost coz of the COVID situation and how we all have to stay at home and attend meetings. The 599s were the best choice in my area according to the amount being covered under the policy, recommendations and availability at this time in my area. That being said, I am completely unaware if I need an external/Internal DAC or amp. I dont even know what the difference between those two things are and this is after trying to research, lol. Will I be able to run them off my motherboard or Front audio for a while and get the amp/ DAC later? I have an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max. I am not an audiophile(yet) so I don't much know about all the subtle intricacies I could hear in audio. I just need clear audio, and not be disappointed by the volume just coz I am not able to provide enough power to it. I will basically use them for gaming and watching YouTube, Netflix, maybe a movie here and there. For now, I just wanna know if I will be able to run them off my current setup, maybe even with a software to boost/enhance audio or not. If yes to software, which one? And if I absolutely had to buy something, recommendations for budget offerings would be highly recommended. I live in India, so many of the options listen in the megathread are not available or are out of stock. Last thing, lol. How do I know if the heafphones are not being delivered enough jiuce to run at their peak perfomance? Thanks in advance, love the forum.
  3. Right, forgot to mention, I connect through PPPoe on my router, but have tried multiple times connecting the direct cable via dialup as well, same issue
  4. Might seem like a stupid and obvious question but I wanna make sure that I am in the right before calling out my ISP. So I have a 75 Mbps symmetrical connection. I have been experiencing speed along with Ping/ Loss issues for a while now(almost 6 Months). A few latest speedtest are linked here- https://www.speedtest.net/result/8498464777 https://www.speedtest.net/result/8498532370 https://www.speedtest.net/result/8498565264 So my question is this- If the upload speed is almost 60-70 Mbps as it should be, there isn't a problem with anything physical in my pipeline like router, LAN wire etc. Right? Coz whenever I contact my ISp they always try to imply that it's a fault on my end, which I am 99% sure it isn't. And I have recrimped the LAN Connectors a few times, and the Local Executive who visits has also done that. Again, anything that could be an issue on my end?
  5. Someone, please explain how a SATA Samsung 850 Evo can have these kinds of speeds. The only setting that I think is worth mentioning is that RAPID mode is turned on, but it shouldn't affect it this much. HOWWWWWW? I have also tested it multiple times just to be sure. It comes out very similar
  6. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooob
  7. hey, why not? coz I was thinking about buying devastator. Tell me all the problems so I don't make that mistake too.
  8. Keyboard- Logitech K120, don't have to say anything about that, it's the most basic thing ever, not having even multimedia keys. Mouse- A basic Dell one, I cringe every time I have to play CS:GO, which I have now started doing. Headphones- Audio Technica Atx AX1iS. Were okay when they were new, but now the wire's all torn up, and when they do work, the right side speaker just constantly falls out of it's place, so I have to open it up almost everyday, not even kidding, to place it back in its slot again. Mousepad- This is the one thing I am kinda satisfied with now, Have a Steelseries QCK+, and it is good. But looking at the premium design of the Feenix Dimora, you have got me confused again, damn you. I could really use these thingses, which I so obviously need.
  9. plz lord Leenus, I am using a daaaamn old 5770, and even that is borrowed so I definitely need an upgrade, and I am a #teamred fan through and through, even through those tough days, lel. It gets so hot, like a 107 degrees at load with 100% fan rpm. It's essentially a space heater. Look at it in all its hideous glory. so, gibe nao pls.
  10. I am using the Logtiech k120, the one Taran uses as the secondary shortcut keyboard for his editing. I need an upgrade, but a GPU is the priority for now. This would help immensely.
  11. When I saved up for my SSD, I anticipated it but still had no little idea how much I would fall in love with it. An SSD is, IMO, needed in almost every PC these days. Oh, the boot times. But IF I win this, I would probably just gift it to my sister because she has a pretty terrible laptop 5400rpm HDD with boot times of around 2-2.5 minutes on windows 8. I would have gifted her one anyway.
