I'm starting up a D&D campaign with some friends and I want to use Discord. Only issue is that I'd really like to mix my desktop audio and microphone to add background music and sound effects.
After searching around, closest thing I can seem to find that gets me close is VB-Audio, but I think I'm trying to make it do something it's not built to do.
I guess the best way to put is that I want to merge my microphone and desktop audio into one feed for discord. Any suggestions?
Serious question, who can I stay with for two nights? I REALLY want to go, but flying in from Midwest USA isn't cheap.
P.s. That was slightly a joke, but if anybody has a recommendation for hotels in the area, I'm all ears.
I'm interested in doing something similar to Linus by having my PC in a server rack. I've never worked with them before though and wondering where should I begin?
Is it possible to put consumer grade hardware in a server shelf or would I have to customize it?
CPU: i7-4790K 4.0GHz
Cooler: H100i GTX
MB: Asus Z97-AR ATX LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro
GPU: GTX 970 WINDFORCE
PSU: Corsair CX 750W Semi-Modular ATX
I took a screen shot last night while I was streaming. I'm not really familiar with the ranges of temperatures under load. They were averaging around 110 degrees Fahrenheit per core, and the GPU was at 150. Are those okay temperatures for extended use? I just get super paranoid about overheating my hardware. I'm considering getting a capture card to put in the machine, but I don't know if that'd really help the CPU that much.
