  2. My favorite would be the Kühler 1250, because I find it even more aesthetically pleasing then every other offering out there. A solid second place would be the accent light, just to replace my half-assed soldered LED-scrap-strips behind the desk. (luckily, noone will ever see dem)...
  3. Im not really hyped about Zotac in any way, since that 280amp, they failed to RMA (to this day).. BUT.. I like the Omegas all metal cooler design, the coloursheme looks pleasing too and the idea of going triple slot with, what seem to be 25mm thick fans is just awesome. I might actually end up buying one (for a single gpu system).
  4. Have been watching your shinenegans since ncix. Prolly keep on watching till I'm that age where eyesight becomes an issue. Keep it up!
  5. Well if that's the case, I would wait on reviews for the newer PB278QR. On the other hand, Im expecting the price of that brandnew "ASUS Rog Swift PG278Q" to drop fairly quick. At least Im hopeful Once that has come down to like 600-699€ Im buying it! Another Display you might want to take a look at: BenQ BL2710PT - 2560x1440 - AHVA Panel - 5,4ms overall latency http://geizhals.de/eu/benq-bl2710pt-9h-laalb-qbe-a978482.html http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_bl2710pt.htm
  6. Mhh... Flight Sims... Just brainstorming here, but why don't you consider one of these beautiful 21:9 displays? LG 34um95-P Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2RY1P38086&cm_re=lg_34um95-_-24-005-635-_-Product Review: http://www.anandtech.com/show/8057/lg-34um95-monitor-review/6 Dell U2913WM Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824260115&cm_re=dell_29_u2913wm-_-24-260-115-_-Product Review: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2913wm.htm ASUS MX299Q Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA25V16D0388&cm_re=asus_299Q-_-9SIA25V16D0388-_-Product Review: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7288/asus-mx299q-monitor-review/5 ASUS's is prolly the best one for gaming and its color reproduction didnt seem to be that bad either - considering that really low latency P.S. Since you do life in Europe (Im assuming Tartu, Estonia is still correct) you dont really have to pay attention to those GIGANTOUS pricetags anyway The ASUS MX299Q is like 400€... http://geizhals.de/eu/asus-pb298q-90lm00c0-b01170-a988510.html
  7. http://www.anandtech.com/show/6460/asus-pb278q-review-an-ips-competitor-emerges This old news on anandtech pretty much underlines what I'd been saying already. And its the confirmation for that "Samsung Panel" I was talkin about beforehand =) There could be a reason behind it all, that ASUS is redoing that PB278Q Edit: What are you shopping/brainstorming for anyway. Casual/Pro-Gaming, the occasional movie, some color/editing work?
  8. Nope it didnt. http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/PB278Q/specifications/ A slow PLS Panel - prolly from Samsung although I cant confirm that. For comparison, here the Link to the new one: http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/PB278QR/specifications/
  9. Well, the ASUS PB278Q is a good fit for casual gaming. (~22.5ms average latency) The "Acer B276HULymiidprz" might actually be good enough to even play FPShooter on it. (~11ms average latency) ASUS's PB278Q has undergone a 'Refresh' so to speak and the new one is beeing shipped in Europe already. There are no tests in yet, but its already more promising then the original. DC-Controlled backlight and a prolly faster (now IPS) panel. Just compare your display choices over at: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/ http://www.prad.de/ (german) If you ask me, I would either go for the Acer or wait for tests on the ASUS PB278QR.
  10. The ASUS PB278QR (the new refresh) with an AH-IPS Panel could be something. No Tests or Reviews atm since its brandnew. But Im actually looking forward to it, the older PB278Q wasn't really suitable for gaming with an average latency of 22,5ms (prad.de). And its PWM-controlled backlight was a dealbreaker anyway. Let's see if LGs IPS Panel fixes the latency - the backlight on the 'Refresh' is already DC-controlled, so far so good. And in comparison to the other IPS-Screen models manufactured by ASUS (not the PAs) its almost safe to say that the latency will prolly be at least cut in half.
  11. Nah. The Quickfire TK is red backlit. The Quickfire TK stealth would've been an option but isn't available anywhere in europe -.-' Thanks for the hint, tho
  12. Like the topic already states, I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard without the arrowkeyblock (print, roll, pause - that stuff). It should still have the numpad for work and thats where it gets tricky. Preferred would be MX-Blues with green/rgb backlit keys or just completly blank keycaps. Any idea?
  13. Basically just wanting to get my hands on that Xperia Z2 becuz my HTC died last week. What I like about it, is prolly that its a Sony phone thats actually sleek and sexy. And I'd like to say dbrand rocks for putting it in the right dress
  14. I guess im in love with that IPS Panel and surely like the aluminium finish.
  15. Mhh.. Would be awesome to get my hands on one of these red drives because my green drives died over the past two month. Used to run a Server with 3 2TB green drives and a 300GB raptor, now down to just the raptor HDD.
