  3. completely random, but eating some pez now and for some reason i always load the candy in a pez dispenser before i eat it, like it is sacred almost.... am i the only one???
  4. yeah now every thing is pretty smooth lol. only issue is have now is the win lock key on boot goes green which is not what is set on the only profile i have and it is saved to memory and also marked as default. both on and off colors are set to a purple color but every boot it goes green lol. not a deal breaker but still weird... like where is it pulling that color from. no profile exists with it, standard or advanced and my profile is stored in memory like you said and set as default. just a software bug i guess lol
  5. well for anyone that has the same issue when you get the keyboard. the update reinstalled the default profile and at the same time the firmware update removed my custom profile from being stored on the hardware. so once i deleted the default profile and stored mine back on the hardware I was good to go.

    rgb k70

Hey guys just got my k70 a little bit back. issue i am having since most recent update is that when i put the computer to sleep it will revert to the default red with white WASD, when i boot back up it will be in the same default. Same issue happens if i shut down the computer as well. then even when i log in it takes a solid minute or two before it loads my profile and changes to the colors i have selected. Any ideas what is causing this. as i said before the most recent download (it had me do the software and firmware)is when it started and since it did both im not sure which caused it. thanks for any help!
  7. Used to be Asus until their support wouldnt send me a replacement sticker for my GPU that they placed on there upside down... that is right they would not rma a sticker they screwed up on was like a month long battle till i gave up on trying. sent pics of the sticker being placed incorrectly proof of purchase, got escalations and still they would not send me a fuckin sticker. imagine if your graphics card actually had a problem. Corsiar on the other hand is now it... they replaced my plexi glass cover because of a minor scratch did not ask for a picture at all just proof of purchase and boom they sent one out. took a few back and forth emails with a few days between response sometimes but with some patiences i got it replaced... at first due to long response times i thought they blew me off but they came through lol.
  8. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! do you guys see the smoothness from which this was typed? just made the switch to a mechanical myself and will never go back. got the k70 rgb with reds and am loving it. i cannot believe i waited this long to get one. even with the reds typing is still way better than any membrane ever was. the rbg is awesome. the performance seems amazing. im just in awe at how AWEsome a simple keyboard can be!
  9. the only thing i could see happening short term is smaller desktops.. like a laptop sized little guy that you can pack all the parts you want into but still has even more power. and eventually long term mobile tech and "desktop" tech will merge, your personal computer may in fact be your phone but as soon as you walk in your home it syncs to your monitor or tv or whatever you want. it can sync to the mouse and keyboard at your desk and you can boot up doom 6 via the cloud and play it seamlessly on your phone/pc. just wait we already see Microsoft trying to merge mobile and home computing into one seamless os and that is only stage 1.
  10. so i finally just upgraded to a new keyboard and mouse. both wired (thought wireless was cool cause it came out when i was in middle school) i got the k70 rgb and love it so far. got it with the mx reds i mean how can you go cherry and not have it be red LOL. i would recommend it after 12 hours of use it is awesome. go with the white led version to save money if you need to. honestly i dont think A) i could ever go back to a membrane and B) i could ever go non rgb (laptop excluded) it is so awesome man i would look into them.
  11. Rage. huge let down. the shooting wasnt bad but the fact that you drive down a road and see the same enemies every time same with far cry 2 lol. I also hated haze!
  12. happens to the best of us.... best thing to do is the band aid method
  13. you could leave it on so if a spider is living inside your case he doesnt stand a chance. lol in all seriousness i would just turn it off and cover it.
  14. you forget you have a top of the line PC. you go to class and have to boot the VMs it is taking like 10 minutes so you switch PCs and yet that takes 10 minutes+ also.... you realize you are on school PCs and that is normal.... all too adjusted to ssd speeds with a processor that you can assign 2 threads to each VM and 2 gb ram to each as well. i was literally thinking there was something wrong with the PCs my teacher went to the first PC i was on to check it out.... he sits for about 12 minutes and "hey it works fine on here maybe you just didnt wait long enough" LOL
  15. um yeah if you are using chrome that is just a virus... switch browsers and problem will be solved.
