  1. So I was playing around with MSAA a bit more, and now I've got this issue instead:
  2. Hey everyone, I've got a problem with Grand Theft Auto V on my gaming PC and the problem is that some stuff have really badly jagged edges, and some stuff such as lightpoles almost looks dotted when they're far away. I've added some pictures showing the problem, as it's easiest way to show the actual issue. The settings I'm running the game at is "Very high, with 16X Antialiasing and FXAA enabled. So what have I tried so far? I've reinstalled the game as well as I've removed and reinstalled the drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller, to ensure it's not drivers related. I've also tried to enable MSAA which did not change anything either, and only made the performance a lot worse. 3. That's why phone verification is recommended - as I've had problems with OEM keys when using the key on a new PC. When online activation have not been working, phone verification have always been able to activate the key without any issues at all. It seem's like phone verification is a lot less restrict.
  4. Didn't you read the tutorial? The tutorial is not for reinstalling Windows 8.1 on a PC which got a key embedded into BIOS, but to use the key from a PC with the key embedded into BIOS on a new computer.
  5. Well, like I previously stated, the phone verification way is just to ensure that no activation issues arise as phone verification seems to work in some cases - when online activation does not work. Therefore I added it to this tutorial, as for some people online activation might not work at all.
  6. This is the most throughout hacking tutorial I've ever seen, and I've learned a lot from it :^) http://a.pomf.se/ufexou.webm
  7. Well, it all depends, sometimes a key is required to actually continue the install, atleast that was the case when I installed my desktop PC from my lenovo PC's license a few months back. The disconnect internet thing is more of a safety precaution so it doesn't try to do automatic activation, which might end in that it fails. Phone verification almost work in 99% of the cases
  8. Are you able to take a picture of the damage so I can see how extensive it is? The best option might be to actually add something on top of the damage that makes the construction a bit stronger.
  9. 24-48 hours, I've been in touch with them recently with an RMA issue and they did take care of it rather quick
  10. All I can say is possible ESD hazard :^), other than that, it looks pretty good
  11. Well, yes, that's true but the Q-PAD QH-90's is a rebranded version of the Takstar Pro 80, hence I mentioned that instead of saying that it was a rebranded Q-Pad. The only difference between the Takstar Pro 80 vs Q-Pad QH-90 is that there's a microphone on the Q-PAD, and there's other kinds of accessories and the choice of material is a bit different.
  12. Have you ever tried to install Windows 8(.1) on your PC, but the installer does not accept your key due to that it's an OEM key from some other manufacturer? Well, that's due to that Microsofts retail Windows 8(.1) DVD does not allow OEM keys, and therefore you cannot install it through that installation image. Today, I'm going to show you how to do it anyways as it requires a bit of tinkering to get it all working, but it shouldn't take more than an hour at most. Requirements: Windows 8(.1) OEM Product key (If it's in your BIOS, extract it using RW Everything.) Retail Installation media (can be obtained from microsoft for free, requires either a USB or DVD) Phone (for activation) Generic KMS Windows 8(.1) key from Microsoft A PC So what do I do? First, make sure you've obtained everything above. After that boot into your Windows 8.(1) DVD and follow the installation wizard as usual, when it asks you to enter your product key, enter the generic key you obtained from Microsoft (the OEM key won't work otherwise). When the PC reboots into a initial configuration screen (where you set username etc), disconnect your network and then go through the entire configuration wizard. When you're on the desktop, keep internet disconnected, and open a elevated Command Prompt and run: slmgr.vbs /upk Then add your Windows 8(.1) key as usual, and keep internet disconnected. Select that you want to do phone verification and follow the steps on the screen, after that your PC should be ready and activated. Now, you can connect your internet again and start reinstalling drivers etc. That's how easy it is, if anyone gets stuck feel free to mention me and I'll do my best to help you out .
  13. I would advise you to have a look at the HyperX Cloud gaming headset as it fits perfectly in the budget, and the sound is really good for it's price. The headphones themselves are a rebranded pair of Takstar Pro 80 with microphone, and they sound really good for the price. The microphone isn't the best, but it's good enough for Skype calls etc and nobody have complained about my microphone yet either. http://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-KHX-H3CL/dp/B00JJNQG98/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1429978408&sr=8-2&keywords=hyperx+cloud Head-Fi reviews for Takstar Pro 80: http://www.head-fi.org/products/takstar-pro-80
  14. Depends on what you're looking for, do you prefer closed or open earphones? And what kind of music do you listen to?
  15. But sometimes bigger drives can make a difference - but not just bigger drivers matters. It's all about how well made the drivers are, how they're designed and what their frequency range is. So yea, a lot of aspects counts in and the stuff you said is 100% true
