  1. Thank you, I was in a hurry and didn't check the size.
  2. Just scrolling along mods for fallout 4 when lo and behold something catches my eye.(for obvious reasons) So to all the LTT fans that enjoy FO4, now you can do both. Sorry if someone else posted this. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3250/?
  3. I really like the look of the Japanese pine wood acoustic chambers. They are my favorite by far.
  4. @LinusTech I would really like to see more about wireless routers and WiFi adapters. Recently the town I live in decided to switch to fiber optic lines which will speed things up a bit. So I have been doing research on the new protocols and what all the numbers and letters mean to get the most out of my recent build. On 99% of all things computer I can pull up LinusTechTips and learn to my hearts desire, but I feel the the router and wifi areas are lacking a little.
  5. I feel that IceCold007 is close to the best procedure for cleaning of a graphics card but I really think that everyone missed a major step in the cleaning to gain performance area. Notice the fins in the video at 1:26, 2:29 and while spinning at 5:34 are still dirty before and after the cleaning. Those fan are almost identical in design to the ones used in residential blower assemblies and that is one area in fairly familiar with beings that I've been doing that type of work for 11 years. As everyone knows, the part of the whole system that is solely responsible for moving the air are the fins, so if the fins are dirty then the performance is diminished. Now to elaborate more on the method of using a tooth brush for cleaning, you really have to make sure that the fin are perfectly clean so that they are able to do their jobs as design and not hindered by the buildup of dust on the concave area of the fins. Also here is an exert from the performance of fans like these from http://smyth1. com/spring-commercial-air-conditioning-maintenance/ -- Fan blade efficiency.Dirty or bent fan blade can greatly reduce efficiency as well. Squirrel cage fans are designed to scoop air and push it. A dirty blade will not have the capability of moving the designed volume of air Good luck and clean properly
  6. Thank you I have been looking to purchase The Witcher I & II and play through those since I got The Witcher III for FREE
  7. My issue is that the DDR of 800 is 1600 and my ram is 1866 which should show up as 933 MHz correct or maybe the benchmark isn't that good at determining the specs of my machine?
  8. I think that I have everything set correctly, but like I said I'm not the best so y'all tell me.
  9. Ok I just finished running some benchmarks with my recently completed first build and noticed that it says my memory is running @ 800 mhz. Now I know that there is a lot of things that I don't know about the real technical stuff on computers like memory timings, but it seems to me that the benchmark should read what it is rated at. My memory is G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3-1866 and here is the benchmark http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6678909
  10. Ok I think I see what is happening, I'm pretty sure that it is my monitor - http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-e197fp-lcd-monitor-19-series/specs/so I need a better monitor to be able to test it on full hd.
  11. On the preset I choose Extreme HD but when it shows the results it always says custom
  12. The one thing that I find extremely hard to believe is that if the Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread is up to date then my score of 4643 is the fastest single gpu one the list. Now I would like to think that but there is now way my card beat a titan, so I have to be doing something wrong?
  13. So is it good for my car to be able to do +200 on the core and should I go higher on the memory? Unfortunately I have no earthly idea what you are talking about, and I think I have awesome air cooling.
  14. For the most part I can pick up on how to do almost anything. I even managed to overclock my i5-4690k. Now on to my issue, I have no earthly idea how to go about overclocking the gpu. I have watch tons of videos but nothing that just puts things plain and simple. So I just took from a couple of videos that you just slowly bump up the core and memory till you crash and or see artifacts then pull back. There are other things that I know that you can mess with like temp limit which I gather you just max out but what does it really do. Another thing is core voltage what does it do and can you bump it up or just leave it. Well so I spent last night going on what I think is right and use Furmark which I Found issues with, MSI Kombustor and Unigine Valley benchmark to see how high it could get thing with the following method Benchmark Score Run Score Power Core Memory Limit Clock Clock #1 3405 #2 3550 +122 #3 3578 +122 +13 #4 3540 +122 +26 #5 3567 +122 +39 #6 3589 +122 +39 +39 #7 3565 +122 +60 +39 #8 3636 +122 +39 +39 #9 3649 +122 +50 +100 #10 3566 +122 +75 +100 #11 3679 +122 +125 +100 #12 3727 +122 +125 +150 #13 3726 +122 +150 +150 #14 3773 +122 +150 +200 #15 3794 +122 +175 +200 #16 3963 +122 +175 +200 after restart and two runs to double check #17 3988 +122 +200 +250 #18 3854 +122 +175 +250 Ok now these results score were from MSI Kombustor 3 with GPU core burner v2 (Furry PQTorus) at 1280x1024 with 8xmsaa. Also I am using MSI afterburner to as my overclocking tool. When it comes right down to it, I have been having issues from the beginning with different thing with trying to overclock my 980 and want some yall with more experience to fill in some of the things I'm missing and if I'm doing things in the right order. I also have my Valley benchmark score if it is necessary.
