  2. So I'm looking for a new laptop and I have a few requirements. Anywhere from 13-14 inches. No touchscreen. A backlit keyboard is nice but NOT a deal breaker. I don't care for the OS. I'm going to install Antergos on it. RAM isn't something that should be that big of a problem, as long as I'm able to upgrade it (I plan on upgrading to 8GB, maybe more if needed down the line). For the storage, either 128GB or more if its an SSD or 500GB or more if a hard drive. Finally, for the processor, an i3 or an i5 is fine. No preference. I hope this doesn't seem like a scavenger hunt, and I would like to say thanks in advance for all the help. EDIT: No budget.
  3. Set view bobbing to off. It makes the game look really choppy in my opinion.
  4. A backlit keyboard can make or break a purchase for some people.
  5. So basically, I'm trying to build a NAS that would cost somewhere around the ball park of $500 USD. Some perks I would like it to have are... Low power usage, I pay around 15.98¢/kWh As quiet as possible. I've been doing some research and found that Intel Atom's are low power usage, but I don't know much about them; or even if they're right for this job. I also found that many people recommend to use ECC RAM, so I guess I should get that also? I don't need that much storage, at most 2TB. I would be running FreeNAS on this machine. And if it matters at all, I live in California. I'm also open to buying the parts off eBay if they're a bit cheaper (except hard drives).
  6. I think you're talking about Midomi. You just hum or sing the song and it should find it.
  7. No official version of Xposed for 5.0 And I'm going to go to a Verizon store tomorrow, but will they say anything when they look at the phone and notice it's running a custom ROM? And whenever you boot up the phone, it has the HTC legal warning in red.
  8. The SIM card I was using wasn't for this phone, but for an iPhone thats it apart of my family plan. If I were to walk into a Verizon store and ask for a SIM card for this phone, would it work; and could they take the phone away because it is S-OFF?
  9. I tried restarting it without the SIM Card and with the SIM Card and I get the same result. "No Service - VODAFONE NL"
  10. I have an old HTC One M7 from Verizon that I rooted and got S-OFF. So I can basically do anything I want with it. My only problem is that I can't get any service. The phone is running CM11 (4.4.4) and baseband version 1.13.41.1209. Without a sim card inside, it just says "Emergency Calls Only", but when I put a sim card it, it says "No Service - VODAFONE NL". How would I go about to fixing this? Flashing some other basebands?
  11. I'm having a really hard time trying to restore my windows installation from a backup I made using Backup and Restore. I have the backup located on the D drive and I'm trying to restore it onto the C drive. I can clearly see the folder labeled WindowsImageBackup that has my backup of Windows. But whenever I click on "System Image Recovery" from a bootable Win 10 USB, it says "Windows cannont find a system image on this computer." WHY? I have most of my important file backed up on another hard drive but I would really really like to restore this installation because it has all my software and programs just the way I like them. I have even disconnect the D drive from SATA and plugged it in using a SATA to USB dongle thing and it still isn't finding it. Any help?
  12. http://www.techverse.net/download-windows-7-iso-x86-x64-microsofts-official-servers/ Has all the 32-bit and the 64-bit downloads for Windows 7 in various languages.
  13. If this were to happen to me, this is what I would do. 1. Uninstall gpu drivers. 2. Restart pc (idk why I do this, I just do) 3. Re-install the latest drivers. 4. DO NO OVERCLOCKING OF ANY KIND 5. Try playing a game. If it crashes again I would just rma the gpu. I can't really think of anything else because you said your pc works fine when the gpu isn't in the system.
  14. I would think so. I mean the crashing doesn't happen when you have the gpu out of the system and you said everything works fine when just using the integrated gpu. I think you should rma the gpu. Or if really want to see if its the gpu causing the problems, try stress testing the gpu using 3DMark or Furmark.
  15. Nope, I don't feel anything. I really think the pump isn't working at all and the water is just sitting there because I can feel how hot the outflow tube is and when I try to feel the heat from the exhaust of the fans it's non-existent.
  16. I don't hear it running and when I touch the water block itself I feel no vibration. Could the pump be defective? It makes sense because when I feel the outputs of the fans its not hot at all.
  17. Do your monitors have different refresh rates? I have 1 monitor thats 144hz and another thats 60hz. When playing borderless on the 144 it feels clunky.
  18. Yes, it's connected using SATA, the LED Corsair thingy turns on, and 1 tube feels cool whilst the other feels hot.
  19. I've been using Antec Formula 7.
  20. I think it's something with the H100i itself. I made sure it was all mounted correctly and I re-did the thermal paste. I've set the CPU to 3.9GHz @ 1.1v and even after re-doing everything the temps are the same. The CPU even throttles itself. The reason I'm thinking it's the unit itself is because my idle temps are still in the 50's, while under full load its reaching 105.
  21. Okay, I just replaced the thermal paste and made sure the pump was mounted correctly. There is no change. It's still hitting 105c. I touched both tubes and 1 feels cool and the other is incredibly hot! I have my fans in a pull configuration if that matters at all.
  22. So I've came to the conclusion with the help of all of you that my pump doesn't work. I know the H100i is turning on because the LED Corsair light thingy turns on, it's just the pump isn't doing anything. I can't hear it and when I touch the water block itself I don't feel any vibrations; 1 tube is just hot to the touch whilst the other tube is cool which leads me to believe that the water isn't flowing. To prove this I double checked the heat exhaust of the radiator that the fans should be removing. The air is cool, no heat. That just proved that the water isn't flowing. I'll get a RMA for this as soon as I can. Thanks. Original Post
