  1. Thank you for the reply. I can say this does not work. It still only registered button as 4 & 5. I did try this before posting, and I'm sorry I did not post this. You can set them at the expense of the thumb buttons being obsolete. No matter what you do the buttons are still not registered in game. I did not test this in any other game. This is my primary game atm as I don't have time for any others. If anyone does figure this out please explain how they unlocked these or found how the can register.
  2. I have a question regarding keybinding the dpi switch key's in game's such as Cod: Modern Warfare. Has anyone successfully bound these key's? I bought this very EXPENSIVE mouse for it's 11 key's, but come to find out that the 2 key's below the mouse do not register in-game. I love this mouse, the clicks, battery life, rgb lighting and responsiveness are amazing, but if the 2 buttons such as dpi switches do not work for keybinds nor does the left and right clicks on the mouse wheel work for a game I stated above it's pretty useless to me. I have used these buttons for 15 years for throwing grenades and flash bangs, this was a must for me. I'm more used to the style of a mmo mouse for fps games vs the keyboard. If it has "11 programmable keys" so it says, is it for macros vs in game use?. Long story short: I want to keep this mouse! Is it just Modern Warfare that doesn't register the key binds or is it most games? If anyone has come across please leave a message. I have a couple days left before I can return.
  3. It definitely could be worse. If you have 15 or 30 days for replacement try taking it back and getting another. Online order or local?
  4. This happens to me on a old monitor. When my buddies are down from away and play something like overwatch or wow I hear a distinct humming/buzz. Very similar to coil whine.
  5. Pretty much every game supports ultrawide monitor's. Overwatch is 1 game that supports it ,but it cuts off the sides with black bars They say it's to much of advantage. I haven't experienced any real issues gaming with ultrawide monitor's.
  6. Once again , 4 panel's later....same issue! I can't believe how bad the light bleed is in these monitor's. I love this monitor, stand is great, moves with ease, great adjustment and range of motion, build quality is fantastic, but for me the light bleed is to much. I currently have a panel 1/5 th price that has no lightbleed that's 3yrs old. I tried my hardest to find 1 with minimal light bleed, but failed. I went to do different stores with different shipments of monitor's. It's always in the same spot.. top left and bottom left (most noticable). Right has some, but very minimal compared to the left side. I wouldn't recommend this monitor in the slightest. I'm really not sure how anyone could accept this . I would love to see one with no light bleed or even minor. I tested this MW (cod) bright scenes and it still can been seen glowing in the bottom corner. Tested Star Citizen for the dark scenes as it is mostly dark game and was unacceptable. Back to square 1. Any recommendations for ultrawide monitor with g-sync ? If anyone has pictures of the Asus Rog with minimal light bleed, please post here or dm me. Currently looking at some of the new widescreen's that were displayed out of CES. Hopefully I can find something soon as my wall is bare and my other monitor is mounted way to high to game. The picture is my last monitor's lightbleed . Would you accept?
  7. Yes, well a bit. This 1 is not as bad, but still bothersome to say the least. I will be trying some dark gaming over the next day or 2 and decide then. I might exchange for 1 more panel or just move on and look for alternatives.
  8. Yes, the photo does emphasize the lightbleed and the price point is hard to pass up. I'm just disappointed that the 2nd monitor's pretty much doing the exact same thing. I also used the tft central settings for this monitor , bring down it's brightness so the light-bleed is dulled a bit. I wish it was more washed, like a white instead of orange.
  9. I just purchased an Asus Rog Swift 34" ultrawide and I'm new to the whole light bleed aspect. On my other monitor(lg29) I lucked out as there was very little light bleed, more of a wash in lightbleed test. I love the display ! Looks and feels like a solid build quality. I think, I will be returning and trying my luck out with a new panel. Seems like a great monitor just can't justify the money spent for this much light bleed. If anyone else has any other recommendations I would be glad to hear them. What do you think? Return or no? I went and picked up another monitor and it's close to the same, but not as bad. For 900 it's a tough call. First 2 pics are the first monitor & 3rd and 4th are the new 1.
  10. Yes, I have mounted quite a few different monitors and tvs , but never a curved. I'm not even sure vesa mount format the monitor is. I will comb through the mounts list on Amazon and see what's right for me. If anyone has a similar setup, I would love to hear from them. Do you perfer the lg more? What's the model u currently have? I was going to create a thread on the Asus model asking if it's worth it. I usually rather hearing from people on here vs the reviews on Amazon as example. What's your thoughts on the monitor I bought for mostly gaming? I got a swinging deal on this monitor from bestbuy. It was 500 off so basically $900 taxes in. I'm really sold on the ultra-wide gaming. If you look at the lg 29" above, that for instance has very little light bleed. I'm just having second thoughts because it's very noticeable imo.

  12. I just purchased an Asus Rog Swift 34" ultrawide monitor and I'm looking for anyone that has this mounted to the wall. Was wondering what mount they used for it? Would love to use a monitor arm, but unfortunately I currently have a glass desk, so this won't fit my current setup. The stand is just to large for my desk and I would like the monitor back closer to the wall. I love the display ! Looks and feels like a solid build quality, but I found out after setting up the light bleed on the panel is too much. I think, I will be returning and trying my luck out with a new panel. Seems like a great monitor just can't justify the money spent for this much light bleed. If anyone else has any other recommendations I would be glad to hear them.
  13. Yes, I have looked at this, but I need new fans regardless. I guess I could look at silent wing's or noctua and add the halos. Really torn lol
  14. What is your pump running at? Yes, the lower the better. Don't mind the fans kicking in at higher rpm while gaming. Also do you have a decent Oc?
  15. I didn't know they had a white version. That might fit the scheme for sure. What are you fans running at & what's the temps like? I would perfer lower rpms with good temps.
  16. Maybe go with https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-RF120-3X120mm-Extension-Compatible/dp/B074P19HSL Or https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B075VGN4M1/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8 Both are compatible with Asus Aura Sync. Corsair is probably the better option. Not a big fan of the controllers(lots of extra wires) from corsair, but you might not care.
  17. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would like to hear if anyone has experience with the fans listed or other alternatives you think I should look at.
  18. So, I'm looking for replacement fans for 1 of my old builds. I currently have 6 aero cool fans (black & white) and 1 is dying (coil wine & vibrating). I'm debating going with rgb fans with higher amounts of static pressure. The 1s I'm currently looking are --> 1: Thermaltake riing trios 2: Corsair LL 120s 3: Ek- Vardar rgb 120's The reason I was thinking Thermaltake first was both sides are rgb lit , corsair is not. Corsair does have better static pressure, but this is kinda minuscule imo. The benefits of ek Vardar rgb is they sync with any lighting system u have, but I'm not sure if they have any gains quietness(db) wise or h20 static pressure. I'm basically looking for a all around decent rgb fan with good static pressure and low (db). Range of rpms would be a bonus as well. I have looked at noctuas, silent wing's, corsair sp(seem to loud), corsair mil 120s. I have custom water loop in need of some change. Would like some help because they are quite expensive. Any other options are welcome and I would consider non rgb if swayed enough. If anyone knows of some new one's coming out please let me know, I would hold off if they look tempting. I will hopefully be doing a new build soon so they will be swapped. Thanks, can't wait for some suggestions!
  19. Browsing for rgbs led strips on their site .. went to log In and couldn't figure out my password..been awhile since I have went to there store. Sure enough I experienced the same problem stated above... banned.. can not access the site. I did have old items in my check-out as well. No idea why I'm banned but if it's the same case of old items In ur account they have severe problems. The only purchase from this daz was a set of rigid light strips.. I have no unpaid bills lol.. I will just take my money else where
  20. I actually looked at this just prior to your post.. everyone's answer was pretty much right I actually watched this video prior to my ur post.. regardless this video was great, I'm leaning towards the corsair 'LL series fans ... what u think. They are not in this video but I think the corsair brand takes the cake.. I do like the thermaltake fans a bit better estic wise but i have heard there software is shit.. what u think?
  21. I'm leaning towards the thermaltake.. they are very expensive though. I also see though they are releasing the thermaltake riing plus rad fans.. r they worth the weight .. the more static pressure the better.
  22. Estics wise i would prefer hard tubing but I already have soft tubing and the fittings.. I will eventually upgrade to hard tubing but that is not going to be anytime soon... I'm currently looking at tower 900 by thermaltake and a set of rgb fans. The added room would be very nice..
  23. I was wondering if soft tubing would work in the thermaltake 900 case? I currently have soft tubing and I was going to buy more soft tubing and I already have the bitspower compression fittings for soft tubing was wondering if this would actually work or not I have two Rads one is a 360 by 60 Ml and the other is 280 by 60 Ml.. My current build is in the Corsair 760t and I just wanted to spice it up and get a new case that has a little bit more room because the bends on the soft tubing are not the best. What's everyone think of this case with soft tubing
  24. What do you guys consider as the best RGB fans? I'm looking for good RGB fans for static pressure and quietness. These will be replacing the older fans that I have and they will be put on a 360 rad in a 280 rad. Good software for the RGB fans also would be nice but not a main concern..
  25. Any thoughts on this board? ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI this seems like a very decent board.https://m.newegg.ca/products/N82E16813157746
