Edit: I can't verify if my backup PSU works or not right now, I have the actual PSU in my hands but the wires are modular and in my closet in a box a bit out of the way. It's too late to go rummaging around through the closet. I'll have to wait til day time.

I went from Windows 7 to Windows 10 via USB boot which made it a clean install.
Activation got messed up so I put Windows 7 on a USB and reinstalled Windows 7, activated it then used the Windows 10 little toolbar popup to install cleanly to Windows 10 again.
Then I did the repair you asked me to do.
 
I'll try using DDU when I wake up. I installed a hotfix nvidia driver a couple hours ago that had to do with fixing some memory issues with the graphics cards, so maybe that could fix it. Either way I'll use DDU when I'm up.
