  1. This has happened before and replacing the CMOS battery fixed it. Theres probably something in it that isnt keeping a charge on that battery... a few weeks ago it turned on and was on the login screen, said there was an IMC Hardware Failure, and restarted fine.
  2. Absolutely nothing. No fans or leds at all. I know its the CMOS battery, but im just wondering why its dead after two months
  3. If it was a ram issue, shouldnt my fans still spin or get mobo beeps?
  4. PSU is fine. It came with a jumper. EVGA 1000 G2. It is 4 months old
  5. PSU is fine. I have tested it. EVGA 1000 G2 that is 4 months old
  6. A few minutes ago i tried turing on my PC, and i have no sign of power. Two months ago i had the same issue and replacing the CMOS battery fixed it. Is there any reason why my battey is dying so quickly? FX 6300 16GB G.Skill 2133MHz ram ASRock Fatal1ty 970 Performance/3.1 MSI GTX 970
  7. The funny thing is that this battery is 2 months old that I pulled out of the board to swap.
  8. You should be fine, especially if you aren't overclocking. I however prefer EVGA power supplies over any other brand as I have had no issues with them. But brand is up to preference.
  9. I was having computer issues to the extent that I had no signal that my computer was even doing anything (No Fans, Lights, or anything). The issue? I swapped my CMOS battery Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty 970 Performance/3.1 RAM: 4x 4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X 2133MHz CPU: AMD FX 630p PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 240M Is there any reason why there was nothing since the CMOS battery was bad (I assume bad). Shouldn't it turn on with no CMOS battery, or a bad one?
  10. Is it an issue with FX 6300 and ASRock Fatal1ty 970 Performance
  11. I just changed the battery and it turned on
  12. I have a jumper that came with the power supply. I have reseated all of the power cables multiple times.
  13. I'll try it. I do have another one on hand from a previous motherboard that had a VRM failure just outside of the warranty.
  14. 2 weeks ago my computer had decided to not show any signs of power. I have emailed ASRock and have gotten no reply. Could this be the fault of the battery? Note: I have tested the PSU and the Power Button, and both are fine.
