  1. Definitely the obvious reason of having it as a mini TV gaming box, so small you could mount it on the back of most TVs.

  3. Cool thanks. Now time spend way too much money so I can max out Shadow of Mordor @ 1440p.
  4. Yo everybody! You can see most of my build details in my signature but if I'm doing an upgrade from my one GTX 680 to two GTX 980s will my 750 Watt Seasonic PSU be fine? I'm thinking yes but I just want to be sure.
  5. Well thanks for the info, I do now realize that it is the 5930K and a 5930X doesn't exist, mess up on my part. The 4.4Ghz test I did was only the built in Asus CPU Level Up thing but it sat for a little on Prime95 with no problems so I'm not sure how far this CPU will actually go. If you know of any in-depth guides on overclocking the 5930K or a CPU using the Rampage V Extreme that would most likely help my endeavors. Anyways time to get my scientist gloves on and do some overclocking.
  6. Hello All! I have a few questions about a friend's build. I need some clarification on a few things as I am not particularly sure on since I am doing most of the tweaking. The Specs for Reference: Asus Rampage V Extreme X99 Intel 5930X (Corsair H105 Cooler) Corsair DDR4 2800Mhz Vengeance RAM 4GBx4 Asus 780Ti Corsair 860i Samsung 850 Pro SSD Corsair 750D So here are my two questions: 1. While going into the bios to change the X.M.P. profiles to 2800Mhz (cause that's what you do) it ended up changing much more than just the RAM speed. Including the CPU Strap from 100 to 125, the BCLK from 100 to 127, the CPU ratio from Auto (35) to 30, and it turned Turbo Mode off. Now I understand that turning the CPU strap up would also make you turn the ratio down but why did it change that in the first place? Also if I try to turn Turbo Mode back on the computer gives me a CPU over-voltage error so I quickly reverted that setting. Any clarification on this would help a bunch, I can't find a lot right now because the platform is so new. Any other tips or thing I should be doing to solve my problems would be grand. 2. After I had set the X.M.P. profiles up and let everything stay at the default that it had set for that the RAM was reporting the correct 2800Mhz speed and the CPU was hovering around 3.8Ghz. I decided to let the Asus AiSuite do its thing with the 5-way optimization set to 4.4Ghz (the highest option). It finished that in a little bit but afterwards I noticed most of the settings changed by the X.M.P. profile had been overwritten and the RAM was back down to the default 2133Mhz, the CPU strap was back down to 100, and Turbo Mode had been re-enabled. (but it did get to 4.4Ghz no problem) So anyways, what am I missing here? Should I let X.M.P. change the CPU strap and try my hand at manually overclocking from there or should I let Asus do the work and then manually change the RAM speed afterwards? Thank for the help!
  7. I love orange builds, its also my favorite color and I don't see it enough so super excited about this one.
  8. Yeah Samsung showed this one: \ But you can't buy it yet. :(
  9. Ohhhhh ok that makes sense now, thanks. Now Im sad I was hoping to wirelessly connect my controller to my phone with no wires or PC. Darn oh well.
  10. I know its a wireless Xbox Controller but did he use an OTG cable or is there some magical app that can use the IR sensor? Idk he said its an app but I can't find anything. Any help?
  11. Well I know I'm reintroducing one of my old threads but just wanted to say I got the Nighthawk X8 a few days ago and so far I LOVE IT. Its absolutely amazing and I haven't gotten used to the typing yet but already better and gaming is such a treat with this thing. Also thought I'd post some glamour shots I took with my S4's fancy camera. This bottom one was taken about 20 sec after I unboxed it to send to a jealous friend.
  12. Bam! 19, bitches. Jeez seriously though that's a lot.
