  1. Hi, i had a pretty similar issue about a year ago due to a faulty PSU. A new/replacement PSU fixed it for me.
  2. Is there a special reason for Windows Server Essentials 2016 or a Microsoft system? I would recommend considering something like FreeNAS to be more reliable and not as performance hungry as a full blown Windows would be. Especially FreeNAS is really easy to deploy and monitor, so everyone would be able to replace a drive or create a new share. As it goes to simple shares you might want something like an AD oder LDAP to manage you users, which is possible with FreeNAS - but not as convenient as a graphical setup - as Windows provides it - would be. BUT there is a simple way to manage users through FreeNAS wo/ AD oder LDAP. In terms of Hardware I would recommend you to take a look at the FreeNAS docs if you think about using it. (http://doc.freenas.org/11/freenas.html)
  3. Well i got the mail too. But the problem is - i live in germany and really wanna get this...
  4. I had a similar problem with a Corsair AX 760i (twice). After my second AX760i failed, I switched to another PSU and had no problems since. Do you have a PSU of the Corsair AXi series?
  5. Just as a reference: I`m using 3x 3TB WD Red HDD`s (5400RPM) in a server running FreeNAS and archive around 110 MB/s via gigabit ethernet. (Read and Write) The HDD`s are in a raid 5 / raid Z config with ZFS and i`m using the caching features of FreeNAS (L2ARC) so the speed is only limited by the network and not by the HDD`s. Sadly i am not able to test this with 2x gbe or 10 gbe but when im copying 50 GB of Photos over the Network (5-10MB per File) i am always maxing out at the practical limit of gbe (111mb/s). So i assume that a USB 3.0 Connection will be faster than gigabit when you are using multiple HDD`s in a raid 0 config or like at least 3 drives in a raid 5.
  6. Is there a workaround to be able to pay the floatplane club in germany? When I try to pay paypal denies the request with "this is not available in your country" "automated payments are not available in your country"

The guys should probably add the option of not subscribing, but purchasing it for a year in a "pre-paid" fashion

  7. This Projector is amazing! You can use it nearly everywere and at every time. It`s fast to set up and the quallity is mindblowing so I would use it for nearly everything. Watch movies with the familie, play games on the house wall or watch soccer on the big canvas in the living room. This would be fun for the whole family, so I would love to win one! Nice video btw
