  1. Right there with you OP. I've been waiting over a month now for my LTT screwdriver set. The best I can tell they sat on the order for over 3 weeks before it left their building. It was my first time ordering with LTT and while delays are to be expected this time of year the failure to inform the customer on a shipping window properly is just bad business. See a lot of apologists for this type of practice. None of my other orders (outside of LTT) had an issue making it to me and I ordered a fair amount this holiday season. So to place the blame anywhere but on the LTT store logistics chain is silly.
  2. I am waiting for a Retro Screwdriver that I was gifted via IOU. The order was placed on the 6th, the label was made on the 15th and nothing since then. I think the "waiting to clear customs" excuse is a little weak as the product was ordered in stock and I have placed several aliexpress orders for electronics that have cleared customs without delay in the past month. I understand it's a fairly small outfit but when you sell items as "in stock" and don't communicate anything beyond that just not an acceptable level of customer service for a multiple million dollar operation.
  3. I am curious as now is about the time all the 1 years are running out how many subscribed to the service.
  4. This is where I would use a LiveUSB of Ubuntu and see if the problem presents itself outside of Windows. If yes then router/hardware problem, if no then I'd work my way through the Windows settings again.
  5. What kind of router are you using? Also switching back to 2.4 GHz may help but at the range you described 5Ghz should be fine. I have the same laptop with the same NIC and get amazing speeds over 5 GHz using a RT-AC87R. Having the wrong type of router can cause the symptoms you are describing for example A selectable wireless “n” router, such as the Cisco RV220W can operate in either 2.4GHz or 5GHz mode; a simultaneous “n” device can operate in both frequencies at the same time.
  6. I sure hope not I bet Nannerbeans is swimming in hardware by now. Would like to see them back.
  7. Fairly new to this forum and really digging the new update. I do alot of python/rspi work and was curious what sub would be the best for that? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
  8. If you are in the hobby invest the $2 in a tester. Obviously a voltmeter would work as well. Lipo Tester
  9. Very slow to load for me (Around 5-10 sec) has been like that since it came up from relaunch.
  10. This guy has a lot of knowledge in the field and his videos are really well done. It is just the basics but it is a great place to start. https://www.youtube.com/user/EEVblog
  11. I use my Pi 2 to boot into Umbuntu Mate and run a few windows of Chromium for a home CCTV stations also run a weather widget/radar to keep the weather and scanner up 24/7. It is a great little tool to get your feet wet into Linux.
  12. Thanks! Didn't think it would be that simple worked like a charm.
  13. Greetings! I am hoping you guys can point me in the right direction on how to do this. I already have the camera setup on the network and can access via VLC. What I would like to do is have a simple script that is a desktop icon that when clicked would launch VLC camera stream. How would I go about this? Thanks!
  14. Monoprice.com has probably the cheapest cases that are built well without having to pay the full price for a pelican case.
