  1. Having only a 20 ms delay is actually very respectable. The input lag that you would experience from using the steam link would likely rely more on the display you are using unless your display is rated excellent on http://www.displaylag.com. Unless you're playing a fighting game and doing frame perfect inputs, you are probably fine as I don't think there are many shooters or even rhythm games (or any at all) that require an accuracy of 1.8125 frames (assuming a 9 ms input lag display at 60 fps).
  2. I'm always looking for a more ergonomic setup for my computer as I have a bad case of tendonitis.
  3. I'm not impressed at all... My first version had it's scaling messed up on the bottom half for no apparent reason. For version two, the print quality was terrible and they also forgot to add the rendered pictures on the page. Here's my entry since I don't expect anybody to actually go to page 36. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/wall-mounted-headphone-stand-with-optional-desktop-stand-base-v2-8170 And here's the renderings again since they didn't upload them
  4. Looks like you're probably going to be SOL if you are at the end. I don't think there's going to be that many people going through all 28 pages to vote.
  5. Here's a look at my design. I was bored enough that I also made an option where you can attach the wall mount to a desktop stand.
  6. My favourite keyboard size is a full size keyboard layout with a row of macro keys usually binded as media controls and push to talk. However, I have been eyeing a 60% keyboard for quite a while for the portability factor and with the added programmability, I think I could finally utilize a 60% keyboard with my laptop or when I bring my desktop to LAN.
  7. My Acer V7 laptop with a WD Black SSHD WD5000L12X-21UJGT0 has been getting the error "Windows Detected a Hard Disk Problem". I have run Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics to test the drive. The results given was a pass for the extended test, but a fail for the SMART status due to the Reallocated Sector Count being 139 while the threshold is 140. How concerned should I be about this hard drive? Note that this laptop is a secondary computer used mainly for school and does not contain any important files that are not backed up onto dropbox and on the main computer.

  9. The Asus VH236H is a great monitor if you're looking for a monitor with low input lag. I believe that the average input lag is less than one frame on the VH236H. Of course since it's a TN panel you won't get nearly as good viewing angles but for games that require precise timing like fighting games, I would prioritize input lag more than anything.
  10. Worst upload speed ever... I never thought it could take so long to add attachments to an email until I moved into a dorm.
  11. The aftermarket cooler on this card looks sick! Also, after switching to the red team from a Zotac 550ti to a MSI R9 280x, I have to say that I miss having GeForce Experience. Raptr isn't quite at the same level yet.
  12. I'm looking for a laptop that's slim and light that can run Visual Studio and Solidworks relatively smoothly and is an improvement over my current laptop preferably under $800 CDN. The specs of my current laptop are: i3 u330M, Nvidia GT 310M, 4 GB RAM, 500GB HDD.
  13. Anyone ripping on Logitech for not using cherry switches need to know that Logitech is not using lower quality microswitches like Kailh switches. The G910 uses Omron microswitches which are highly reputable and are used in high-end gaming mice and the Sanwa arcade joysticks and buttons that are used in widely in Japanese arcades and high-end arcade sticks.
  14. Microwave. It's built in a white Fractal Node 304 so it literally looks like a microwave.
  15. I love how the Z2 is waterproof, has front facing speakers, and has expandable memory. dBrand is cool because they gave a Z2 for Linus to review and giveaway.
