  1. Fixed by turning off AMA in the monitor settings.
  2. Not sure of the best way to phrase this so it makes sense so I've included a video that sort of shows what it does. Basically, I got a new monitor and it appears to make shadows as you drag it. Anyone know what I have to change to get rid of this?
  3. Ok so Corsair cooler but change the fans. I'll order them now. Thanks guys!
  4. Hi guys. I'm looking into getting a closed water cooling loop for my PC. I've heard good things about the H100i from Corsair but wanted to ask just in case anyone knew of anything better. Ideally I'd want dual rad.
  5. Being able to customise the buttons on the bottom bar.
  6. I haven't heard of this before. I highly recommend contacting Google Support. They are phenomenal. Click phone at the bottom of this page: https://support.google.com/nexus/#topic=3415468&contact=1&ts=3454823 and ask for a replacement. They will ship out a replacement along with pre paid postage for you to send back your faulty device. It might actually be easier to return it to Google than battling with it. Make a nandroid backup to easily transfer your apps and settings over. Hope this helps.
  7. This problem is usually due to the hard drive being in use - it slows the read times because it is writing to the disk and therefore slows other programs down.
  8. That would work but lots of email providers automatically add contacts based on who emails them so that would only be a temporary solution.
  9. I thought that might be the case. The spam is from contacts in his address book that have had their email accounts accessed to send spam. I'll leave the thread open just in case anyone can come up with any other suggestions.
  10. What would I add to the filter though that blocks spam and not the legitimate emails?
  11. Hi guys. A friend is having issues with Gmail. They are getting lots of spam from people who do send legitimate emails because their accounts have been compromised. The default spam filter on Gmail is normally pretty good but it just isn't cutting it for this and blocking the email addresses is not a viable solution. What is the best way of filtering spam content? If they click on the report spam button, is there a possibility that legitimate emails won't get through?
  12. Hi everyone. I'm looking for a cable that allows me to split the mic and headphones into 2 separate connections so I can use it with my PC. Is there something that will do this for me?
  13. Once these things have gone down in price (by a substantial amount) they will be really successful but I just can't afford the amount of money it costs to get a smartwatch when it is almost as convenient to just pull out my phone to look at a notification.
  14. I also don't think that it is much of a threat to the next generation. Maybe after that, they won't exist but at the moment, the internet isn't ready. Most of America has incredibly expensive internet and data caps who just can't afford to pay for the amount of internet they would need to stream games. When ISPs get their act together, the world of gaming is going to be completely different from how it is now.
  15. Ok. I'll give it a shot on my iPad and see what I think of it. Thanks for your help.
  16. I've just watched Linus' video on the HTC One Max and the HTC stylus looks really interesting to me. It appears to work really well on the screen. The question I have is does the HTC stylus have any active technology like it does with the Samsung Note devices or is it just a well made standard capacitive screen stylus? I couldn't find any specs to indicate this on the HTC website but if anyone could confirm this, I'd be grateful.
  17. I don't think a different keyboard layout would help. It's not the actual typing that's really an issue, it's the fact that he can't correct typos or missed words because he doesn't really notice them until they are pointed out to him. Besides that would mean relabeling the keyboard because he hunts and pecks for letters.
  18. That's just a typing test. Not at all what I'm after.
  19. Hi everyone. I'm currently searching the internet for some kind of predictive text program for Windows which works with a physical keyboard. I have a friend who had a stroke some time back and they struggle with typos all the time and would also like to be able to type emails quicker. Ideally it has to have next word prediction as well as the ability to correct small typos. I can't believe that there is nothing I could find on the internet to solve this problem. Does anyone know of a program that could do it or a different solution? Edit: I also saw this: I thought this would do the job nicely but I can't find a link to download it anywhere on that companies website because they appear to have moved more to the tablet and phone market. TAKE MY MONEY GUYZ
  20. Bought! Thanks for the advice guys!
  21. I'll go for the keyboard then. I was thinking this one? http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/peripherals/keyboards/gaming/dk2108buklla.html
  22. Hi Everyone. I'm in dire need of a new keyboard and a new headset but I can only afford one at the moment. Which would you go for? Both are in need of an upgrade.
  23. They do have a partnership with HP though so you basically walk into a job from them but I don't know the progression from then.
