  1. Pressure optimized fans are great for intake mounts and will help the air push threw the drive cage. Air flow fans are best for exhaust mounts.
  2. Check this out http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=8_134&item_id=040083
  3. I got those prices from CanadaComputers here in Toronto Canada
  4. The air penetrators create more static pressure which allow them to "scoop" more air then air flow fans.
  5. The best aftermarket GPU coolers for the 6870 are the: Arctic Cooling XTREME Plus II - 45.99 GELID Rev. 2 ICY VISION - 42.99 Both GPU coolers are great. Personally I prefer theArctic Cooling XTREME Plus II because it has three 92mm fans that keep the GPU silent and cold. The GELID Rev. 2 ICY VISION is a cheaper option and has uv reactive fans that also spin quiet. In conclusion, both GPU coolers are fantastic choices that will definitely beat the stock cooler. Any one is a great choice. It really depends on what your looking for like color, size, fan amount, and sound.
  6. There could be a chance that the fan header might be broken. Or maybe the fan bios menu might be restricting the rpm of the fan.

Wow, nice fan setup. You have a very good full load temp.
  8. The R4 is a great choice for a Silence optimized Case. It features noise reducing foam that makes the case even more quiet. Yes, buy a new HD and use an optical drive. In most cases, the Optical drive is the loudest part in the system when in use.In conclusion, Buy the R4. The R4 does an awesome job of hiding the sounds of computer hardware. -Ronald
  9. The Evo is an awesome budget over clocking cpu heatsink.
  10. Ya sure! The PWM models are also a great choice. Its just a matter of where the fan is located. If the fan is cooling the CPU, i would get a PWM. if its being used as a case fan, just get the regular. I hope I helped you with your choice!-Ronald
  11. BitFenix Spectre Pro's are a great choice for this situation. Spectre Pro's are very quiet, push lots of air, and are perfect for radiators. They come with noise reducing mounts and voltage reducers to further decrease the already lowered noise. I have 7 of these and have 2 of them in a push/pull config for my H50 cooling an i3 3220. It keeps it at a very cool temp of 34 degrees Celsius. I highly recommend these fans and if you have a colour scheme in your pc, they come in a variety of colours and LED capabilities.
  12. Personally, My favourite 140mm Fans are the BitFenix Spectre Pro Blue LED's as you can tell from my profile pic :). I currently have 7 Spectre Pro Blue LED 140mm fans in my rig and LOVE them. The BitFenix Spectre Pro Blue fans are very quiet and push lots of air because of its Static Pressure design. It is also constructed out of a dual frame design that allows it to be much quieter than a regular single frame fan. Not only does the dual frame make it look awesome but it also reduces fan vibrations which make it even more quiet. In addition, Its reinforced fan blade design prevents fan warping when cranked up to high fan speeds. In conclusion, the BitFenix Spectre Pro Blue LED's are one of the best 140mm LED's Static Pressure Optimized Fans and i highly recommend them!
