    EDIT : linus is talking so fast , if i put a sample beat on to the video track from the begining to the end , it'll sound like a killer rap video about enthusiast grade CPU... Genius.. simply genius...

    Even though they are very similar, I doubt you will be able to swap out the motherboard. Usually the rule is unless it's the exact same motherboard, you will need to re-install windows. As it may have a different BIOS and other things that the OS is locked to.

    It usually works but you might have to re-activate windows.
    And install some drivers.
     
    But if not you will need to re-install windows and all your programs.

    You can, but it's not 100%. In my experience, it's just luck if it works or not, I've had motherboard changes that worked fine without reinstalling windows, and ones that were completely broken without a reinstall.
