  1. That the G400s has smoothing is right. No, not particularly, optical Sensors(which includes Avago´s LED and Laser illuminated ones as operation is basically the same) have a certain "Base CPI" due to its Image Array from where higher CPI are getting upscaled, working with less Data than actually needed causes less Precision and Jitter(jerky movements) at higher CPI, so to counter that smoothing was introduced, which in a way works like Vsync for the Mousecursor. My Suggestion would be to get a G402(because it is lighter than the G502) from a shop with good return policy to try it out yourself.
  2. Cheap OEM mouse with an Office Sensor at a far too high price point.
  3. DICE straight up said that the PS4 is the lead Platform for Battlefront, so nobody should expect anything anyway.
  4. Depends on the Sensor, optical systems are having rather small image array´s from which they calculate the higher steps, in Case of A9500, A9800, PMW3310 and S3988 that would be 800 with a maximum multiplier of 8.
  5. Weight ≠ Quality, especially in the lower Budget Area weights are screwed inside to give the feel of quality even tough the two arent related.
  6. Nope, Kinzu has much higher PCS. You can check it out yourself with Microe´s Mousetester.
  7. Updated the List including a section for "Gaming Mice" with office sensors. Edit: Another update, aded some 3320 mice.
  8. 3988/3989´s native dpi are in steps of 50, scaled from 800.
  9. it depends on the Mouse, anything with S3888 or S3668 has interpolated steps calculated from the highest Value, regardless of that, Synapse and its Drivers arent really good for the cursorbehaviour.
  10. I didnt even care about the whole GG thing but guessing where that author lives just by that article was too easy.
  11. Leaving any kind of (un)similarities aside, both have been designed by the same Design Studio.
  12. Which is BS considering that you might not be able to play with your preferred sensitivity if the mouse malfunctions at 1m/s.
  13. It should be noted that there are two versions of this mouse, one for Gaming, one for "casual interwebz", yellow being the office Version with PAN3509(and that sensor is far from "precise") while the Grey comes with A3050(and 1000hz polling).
  14. Altough it should be noted that PTE is only optical because it uses optics to focus light, not because it takes pictures, so in a sense it is not optical.
  15. You can only make it heavier, not lighter.
  16. Neither of those two.
  17. Neither, both use office sensors paired with interpolation, the list price of the redragon is also the most unrealistic i have ever seen.
  18. Then why not just use the real designation instead of maybe causing people to buy that mouse with "Avago 3310" because it is "better" due to reputation?
  19. Would have just fit with Zowie´s RMA Office/Warehouse. And just because others do it doesnt make the Practice any better, "common people" think that "Avago 3310" and PMW3310 are not the same, thats why i mention it, and thats why the correct designation should be used, there have been quite a few threads in a few forums where people ask about the differences.
  20. And how the customer percieves it. Edit: You are not by any chance working for Zowie arent you?
  21. So it would be okay to sell Volkswagen as Lamborghinis while others dont, just because Volkswagen bought Lamborghini and i want to get an Edge over other Sellers? Not to mention that PMW3310 came after the Patent Sale, thats why its called PMW3310.
  22. Not sure what you want to get at, saying it comes from a different company implies that it is not the same, its not like Kartoffel and Erdäpfel.
  23. Official designation is PMW3310(which is PixArt naming scheme for obvious reasons), "Avago 3310" is just used by companies to let their Products appear superior.
  24. There is no "Avago 3310". If somebody goes fpr the Kone Pure, then he should go for the Military or Amazon Edition.
