  1. Go back to the main page and down the bottom there's a link titled 'the moderating team'
  2. CPL and PCCaseGear are my go to stores
  3. Codecadamy is pretty useless to put it very plainly, it's also pretty rare to find a place online that can give even a half decent insight on how to program. Your best bet is to pick up an actual textbook on the programming language and study that. I learned C by buying the lastest edition of the C programing language and went from there
  4. It's actually quite rude to be taking part of somebodys ID on the forum, I won't take it up with a mod myself because that's really Excons decision to make, But I'm just voicing an opinion that quite a few people I know have made in private discussions and has annoyed them a great deal. It's been a part of his identity since well before Roderick was here.
  5. I keep this account this way so I can keep zero personal info on the forums, so there's actually a reason behind me not having a profile pic. But going ahead and ripping off the image of a very promiment member of the forums since long before you were here is a dog act on your behalf.
  6. Depends on the temps you want to hit, how silent the fans are and your own personal tollerance on noise. Personally I sit my fan curves down as low as I can get it up until 50 or so degrees and then ramp up to whatever the needed fan speed is to keep the card in check under load. That way you get silence at idle/very light load and the fans won't exactly do much at all untill you start putting load on the card and then hit a constant fan speed that will keep temps as low as possible under any sort of gaming load without causing too much noise. It's quite an unorthodox way to set the card up but I enjoy being able to not hear a single thing out of my system until I fire up a game It's really best to play around with the card until you find what suits your needs
  7. Can you not use a blatant rip off of the profile pic that @ has used since before time began.
  8. Noiseblocker only provide 2 models, the ELoop and the BlackSilentPro. The ELoop is by far the best fan on the market right now for silence at any rpm, but only comes in 120mm and has and issue with the mounting system where the fan blades protude slightly futher out than the frame of the fan, so if there's anything directly in front of that fan it's going to grind on it and make a hell of a lot of noise. So it's really only ideal as a radiator fan running in a push only config, or as an exhaust case fan where there is nothing in front of the fan that could possibly make contact with the fan blades at all. So I would only really reccomend using this fan if you know what your getting in to. You can get around this issue when using the fan as a intake case fan by using 3mm thick washers as spacers between the fan frame and the case though The BlackSilentPro is a their more traditional style fan, has no issues with compatablity at all when in a pull config on a rad or as an intake on cases, it comes in a variety of sizes also, But it isn't as silent as the ELoop, but I'ld place it as a slightly better fan than something like a Noctua NF-F12. So if you need just a grab a fan and stick it in deal the BSP is a better option, but for absolute silence the ELoop is better but also has to take some tinkering to make work in certain situations and can't be used as a pull fan on a radiator in any situation
  9. Get Noiseblockers, Best possible fans you can buy on the market right now.
  10. Unfortunately the education there isn't all that great
  11. If you can get a Giga/Asus/MSI card for a similar price I'ld go that way. The DD is competent enough to cool the card, it's just going to create more noise because it'll need higher fan speeds to match the other coolers, if noise isn't an issue and you can get the XFX cheaper then go that route, but personally I'ld go for a more premium cooler
  12. Do you have the bridge connected and is the motherboard crossfire compatible? those are the only two things I can really think of off the top of my head
  13. They are alright, it's no Windforce, DCU2 or Twin Frozr by a long shot, but it's alot better than any reference design cooler your ever going to find out there
  14. For a build that complex your going to need a hell of a lot of tools and know how. I've been modding PC's professionally for clients for a few years now and I'm about 4 months into a scratch build and I'm still struggling to make it all work even with a shed full of pretty much any consumer level tool you can imagine
  15. There are some that kind of work, not very well at all though.
  16. It doesn't matter on the position of the fans Basically more intake than exhaust means positive pressure which causes slightly worse temps but reduces dust build up. More exhaust than intake means negative pressure, which causes more dust but better temps Though it's always a good idea to keep your fans intaking through front/bottom and exhausting out back/top to keep good directional airflow and help reduce hotspots caused by fans fighting each other for airflow, this doesn't really affect the pressure inside the case in any meaningful way though.

solid fucking bro at work there!

Been working on my H630 all night modding it, t…

very much so :/ Ah well, I'll just have to do more modding to make it more different
  19. This already got posted last night at some point
  20. Unfortunately I've no longer got the chips anymore, they were client builds so they are long gone now. I'm been testing out 25 multi and a 200 FSB on my personal 8350 @ 1.48v stable on my test bench just to see how it stacks up against a straight multiplier OC in benchmarks, so that's running Aida to make sure it's all stable, if so then I'll try bump that FSB up abit more
  21. Doesn't windows have a built in relay function that will play your mic through your audio out?
  22. Yeah I have been playing with alot of combinations with multipliers and FSB to see if I can get them to go abit further. Sometimes it just wont happen for me though. But that's what you get sometimes I guess
