  1. With a bios update that board supports a i7 3770k
  2. Yeah it's expensive but for me i had to by a new laptop for school. And did not have the space for a desktop in my apartment so it made sense to invest in a laptop that i could game on. And i probablly wont upgrade in three years or so. If it si too expensive you could look into a laptop with a 1050ti mabye? I'm not updated on the market right now but they shoud be cheaper.

    Dt 880 vs Dt 990

For me they are very comfortable and fit nicely over my ear. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-akg-k7xx-red-edition A drop on them right now and check out Linus's rewiew if you have time

    Dt 880 vs Dt 990

I would recomend you to check out the AKG K7XX, have been using them for over a year now. They are great allround headphones.
  5. I have been using the gl502vm as my school/gaming pc for the past 7 months now an i am very happy with it. It is light, good performace and i just in class use i can stretch the battery life to a bit over 6 hours. But it runs quite hot and loud when you game on it.
  6. Forgot to specify, its WiFi slowdowns.I will look into access point prices and if they can match the deal i found earlier. Thanks for the help!
  7. I live in an apartment building so there at no modem in the apartment, so yeah an access point may be a better purchase. I do have issues with the network coverage and slowdowns. Therefor i think i will benefit from a upgrade.

    New router

I am looking to upgrade the isp included router and found a deal on a Asus RT-AC51U today. Will i notice any slowdowns since the RJ45 ports only support 10/100? I have a 30/30 mbit connection.
  9. Well, i bought my mobo and cpu used and i did not toutch the bios and im fine, but you can do a bit of research on your mobo and see if there are any crucial updates but i would guess that it will be okay.
  10. If you are running a stock cooler you definitely need to upgrade it. I am running a H100i that i picked up cheap from a friend of mine but any decent aircooler should probably be fine for a light to medium oc. Here are some links that i used when overclocking my i5. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/263043-29-1156-core-core-overclocking-guide
  11. I have overclocked my i5 750 to 3.8 ghz and it's been treating me good, but if you are not comfortable with it buying new part are a better solution. Then i would advise you to go with the i3 instead of a fx cpu. My brother has been running an i3 6100 for 6 months now and it's a solid budget cpu.
  12. Have you tried overclocking your i5?
  13. I just rebuilt my pc with a i5 750, then overclocked it to 3.8 ghz. Very happy with the performance, if it is a upgrade from your current cpu i would say go for it!!
  14. What software should i use when stress testing the overclock on my i5 750? It is cooled by a H100i.
  15. Yeah, probably better of saving the money, it works good enough for csgo and some other games. Just bulit the rig a couple of weeks ago, happy with the way it performs but i ran into a sizable cpu bottleneck when playing BeamNG.Drive
  16. I am able to get a q6600 localy, if i went for the q9450 i would need to buy it from ebay or someting and with the shipping costs it would not be worth it.
  17. I am running a q9300 oc'd to 3ghz on a Asus P5G41T-M LX, (399 fsb) Would it be a upgrade if i got a q6600? I know its a older cpu but it has a higher multiplier, so i could oc it further. About 3,6 ghz if its stable at 399 fsb.
  18. What about the Jaybird bluebuds x? or the x2 for that matter. No more broken cables, Have the bluebuds x for my self, the battey last me about 6 to 8 hours depending on listening volume. Linus has a review of both the x and the x2
  19. Okay then(det var synd, veldig god luft ute nå, hvertfall i trøndelag) try just laying in bed and put something like rainymood.com or rainycafe.com on low volume on some speakers or put some earbuds on. I find ambient noise to be relaxing
  20. As a fellow Norwegian i would say, put on your jacket and go outside for five to ten minutes. Just to get some fresh air, then go to bed
  21. I would buy ddr4, you could sell the old mobo + cpu and ram if 60 euros is a big difference.
  22. I would go for the pc with the dedicated gpu, it gives you the option of playing more demanding games. The one that TheRandomness posted. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YCYfXL
  23. You could use this (http://www.amazon.com/CablesOnline-20-Pin-Motherboard-Adapter-USB3-AD24/dp/B00E42A4L0), Think that board has two usb 3 headers. So you could use one of the headers for usb 3 and use that adapter on the other usb 3 header. This one is a 8 pin usb 2. Here is a 9 pin usb 2 one: http://www.amazon.com/SIENOC-USB3-0-Female-Motherboard-Adapter/dp/B00O0HC3Y0/ref=pd_cp_147_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=08XG1BT9A63WDXW7FXT1
  24. Would be a nice space saver for my desk and need I a new pc to game on, tired of living the intel hd4000 life. #laptop
