I'm right with you about cases and fans. I don't care about RGB, I don't care about windows. As long as the case is aesthetically pleasing and fits all my needs I'll use it. My current case is a Fractal Design R5. I do believe a lot of the tech industry is about marketing and a lot of YouTubers are a bit complacent in advertising to minors. A lot of kids these days think they need a $300 motherboard or ram that costs 50% more because it's "faster", or the latest and greatest processor and cooling solution so they can overclock it to within an inch of it's life. I know Linus expressed some concern about this on his rant several months ago.

Linus was recently mentioned in a gear review video from Donut Operator's channel. He asked his followers to suggest ways to spice up a gear review video and someone mentioned Linus. Thought it pretty funny and thought I'd share.

Honestly, I would look at peripherals before I would spend money on upgrading either of those things. Would you like a bigger/better monitor? Or maybe a kick ass headset?

I subscribed to their channel because of the personalities back when they were still at NCIX. Ever since LTT moved to their new location and started making "more professional" videos I've stopped watching most of their stuff. Their horribly scripted videos don't allow for the personalities to show through anymore. Their script writing is atrocious and is the biggest turn off for me. I wouldn't mind the "more professional" videos if Luke would stop using phrases such as "kinda cool". Either be professional or don't be. Another thing that bugs me is when there is a mistake in their voice over that they catch post production and correct it with text on the screen. It's audio! It would take them less than 5 minutes to record the correction. That's what a professional would do. One more thing that bugs me is their over use of stock photos. I've ranted enough. My point is I much preferred their unboxings because they were off the cuff and their personalities shined. I would love to see them do such videos again.

I'm sorry for trying to bring relief information for a natural disaster to thousands of people. Silly me.

Tropical Cyclone Winston hit Fiji Saturday night. So far the death toll is up to 42 individuals. With AMD naming their latest architecture Fiji, will they send any monetary aid to the hard hit island nation?
