  1. Ok cool thanks are there any down sides to running full all the time? Like I can replace if they ware out but does running full decrease life span? Would getting a fan controller be better?
  2. So today I bough a NZXT H440 case to replace my older Corsair 240, and I noticed on the back their is a fan splitter. All the pre installed case fans are silent and run smoothly with no problems, but I was wondering if I attach more fans (2) to the spitter will they run at max speed all the time ? And does that mean all the case fans are also running maxed all the time? Just need a bit of insite on that splitter back there. Thanks
  3. Hey guys Brad here recently I built a new machine: - Asus A88mx-a mobo, - 8 gb Coursair Vengance pro RAM 2133mhz (soone to be 16) - Sapphire R9 270x 4GB DDR5 graphics card new (bough 2 days ago) - AMD A10 7700k Black edition APU (10 cores = 4 CPU + 6 GPU) - 650w Thermaltake PSU - Coursair Case (Carbide Series® Air 240 High Airflow MicroATX and Mini-ITX). So the after install my games and the usual default programs I decided to test the limits of this build. In BF4 I can play on ULTRA 1080p with 0 lag at 90+ fps, minecraft at 100+ fps all settings maxed, and a few other games such as metro 2033, last light. Besides changing some of my setting such as fan speed to cool ( getting water cooled soon) I noticed in Planetside 2 I was only getting around 60 in non battle areas, 40-30 fps in medium battles and in large scale battles 20-30 with some lag but playable. I was wondering what the problem could be if I could run all the other games fine but Planetside 2 will not run smooth even on medium settings. So in short and conclusion any ideas how to make Planetside 2 run or be optimized better since every other game I own including GTA V runs perfectly at 1080p on highest setting at 60+ Fps. - Do i need to change my APU settings? (there at default) - Some way to optimize my graphics card that im unaware of? ps not the most technologically advanced so any feedback is appreciated. (also not necessary recommend any good games haha) Thanks, Brad
  4. yeah I noticed I gave it two and runs decent guess I still need to get a dedicated GPU to make things better haha
  5. After fiddling in the setting I have solved it and now get arpund 135fps which is great thanks for the support! Also allocated more ram and now runs greats!
  6. Yeah I turned V-sync off and max fps to unlimited but still wont move base around 48-62 (unstable)
  7. Hey, guess so recently I started building a new rig current specs are - Asus A88mx-a mobo, - 8 gb Coursair Vengance pro RAM 2133mhz (soone to be 16) - No dedicaded GPU (coming soon about a month or so) - AMD A10 7700k Black edition APU (10 cores = 4 CPU + 6 GPU) - 430w Thermaltake PSU - Coursair Case (Carbide Series® Air 240 High Airflow MicroATX and Mini-ITX) So the main problem is that I can run Battlefeild 4 a medium settings and get approx 60-70 FPS, but try to run minecraft and I can barely get 60 fps (around 45- 58, also my render/ view distance is 10)? Why would this be, I guess im more confused that I can get more FPS in a more intensive game without a dedicated GPU and bad fps in a minecraft ( i think is a lighter game). Any thing I can do? or Optimize? or just go get the dedicated GPU? Thanks any feedback for this is welcomed !
  8. Yeah, I guess that's the one main thing I forgot to say, its horrible in between songs or just having and audio out plugged in I guess for the cheap price that is what we get right.
  9. Haha same got mine for 80 but oped for their bundle deal for $149 I could get a case, screen protector, and extra year of office 365 sub.
  10. Hey, guys so I have been using an HP Stream 7 for about three solid weeks now and its surprising powerful and snappy. For a 32 bit system this caught me off guard but makes sense if it only has 1gb of ram. Sure it wasn't meant to replace a full PC or laptop but I have has some great usage with quick searching, steam, videos etc. Whats your opinion on this device? Love to hear some feedback.
  11. Hmm try running it without your graphics card ? Then try listening for the sound? This problem could be from it either not having enough voltage of its trying to regulate the incoming power from the wall and is stepping it down. (Not an electrician but know quiet a bit)

  13. You can try formatting it the more advanced way lmao, go to disk management, look for the USB then right click, and select delete drive and then right click again and create new simple volume. If that does not work try right clicking in disk management and selecting format.
  14. Hey this could be that the device is simple corrupted file format. So what you can do is test it on another PC is its the same situation try going to device manager and removing the device from under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers". Then remove and plug the USB back in it should re install the device driver and then be accessible. When I say remove the device I mean un-install it from Device manager.
  15. This could actually just might be a simple output error check the sound manager to see your outputs and inputs by right licking the the sound icon in the bottom right and clicking sounds then, navigate to the playback tab and make sure your G35's are selected as default device. Hope this helps.
  16. Hey, I have an alienware 14 too, and mine usually idles around 47-52 degrees, and thats a norm so i would suggest a cooling pad, or having the vents on the bottom and sides in an optimal air flow environment.
  17. Hey did you install an operating system yet? Just trying to get some background on your problem.
  18. I would recommend double checking your calbes. Yes everyone says that but just incase, then check the input and output ports for damage on the monitor and behind the computer. Then if there is still no fix or physical problem, I would say it would then be a defect in the monitor and since i should be under warrenty I would assume, get it replace. Also on the same not check your monitors eco settings it might be turnign of due to heat or ? a eco timer?
  19. Haha oh the nostalgia CPU: O_O no clue build it in 2003 Mobo: Asus RAM: 512 mb Ram Power supply: 400 watt HHD: 16 gb western Digital x2 Gpu:no clue lmao integrated i think Case: Asus (literally a steel box) Dvd Drive: Creative multi burner This thing was literally a giant metal box that was good for Aol messenger (if you know what that is), word perfect (LOL), and playing games like doom, Dracula (RTS), and a few others, in the end it now sites in my basement covered in dust.
