  1. All you have to do is plug the USB in and at the BIOS start up, hit F2 (in my case, to access boot devices) may be different based on your motherboard.
  2. OOOOOOOOh sorry I thought you wanted wireless
  3. Glad we could help! Let me know how it works out or if you need more help!
  4. Try using a bluetooth, receiver dongle and pair it with your phone? Just an idea. You might be looking for something like this but for a 30mm jack, http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-980-000910-Bluetooth-Audio-Adapter/dp/B00IQBSW28%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q%26tag%3Dduckduckgo-d-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00IQBSW28
  5. Yes, actually you can, it might have to be with the Ubuntu 14.04 distro, but check out an application for ubuntu called 'Wubi installer'.
  6. I did not know that! Thanks as far as I knew you were screwed if you changed MoBo's
  7. Not exactly prety much if you install win10 on a desktop and switch your mobo to a new one your windows will un-activate and you will have to buy a new license.... unless you can some how talk them into giving you a new one.
  8. Seeing that you are new to this are you wanting to go the route of a NAS, or dedicated non-nas file server? Also I would recommend you check out FileZilla server its a free software that allows you to host files on a computer, there are others out there but some do cost money. Not to sure what your looking for.
  9. Yes you are correct the win10 Key binds to your MoBo
  10. No, this will not work you need to first install Win8 or Win8.1 depending on your key, and then upgrade for free (which is still available) to windows 10, however do try it and if your key does not work call MS and they should be more than likely to help you activate since you have bought a legitimate key as long as you have your proof of purchase.
  11. That would be a good choice I was just recommending from my experience but that should me more than sufficient.
  12. Sorry didn't know that, I was just saying if it was possible and, personally I run a MacBook Pro with 16Gb ram and 512 SSD and I run out of space and RAM lol so personally coming from my experience in programming I was just recommending from my opinion.
  13. Yeah those specs sounds perfectly fine I would recommends you try to op for a larger 512 SSD and 16 Gb ram if available.
  14. Beautiful then that I know you have a tower now, then I guess if your not trying to game or render videos the Air will do just fine for day to day task and light gaming. Just send the specs of the model you were looking at and I can give an idea if you need to boost them! Cheers!
  15. Personally I use a MacBook Pro 15' so I feel if you can save up and maybe try to keep using or Asus until you can get a MacBook Pro that would be better. The Air lacks sufficient processor power to accomplish higher end tasks or you can also look at a few Windows based laptops that might have the same processing power if not more in the same price range. But I guess it depends on the tasks and applications you are trying to run.
  16. Did you make sure to plug in the the CPU power there is usually another 4 or 6 in some cases pin that needs to be plugged in on top area of the mobo. Check that the RAM is properly slotted, and that all power connections are securely fastened. Let me know if these don't work.
  17. Hey might I ask what version of windows you are on? Because when I upgraded from 7 - 10 this was also a problem for me. Now I just sit on 8.1 lol
  18. You many need to format/delete the partition so that it will be in the proper format being "MBR" so windows can be installed
  19. It is because when your downloading all your bandwidth is being directed to the download, so you might want to check out the QOS (quality of service on your router/modem). But there isn't anything wrong. Hope this help if not shoot me another question.
  20. This is what I'm thinking because there older router, you had access to all the setting in it, this one just gives you a dumbed down version with little to no compatibility. Which I need since I host multiple servers from home. But like the internet works, like the modem is ported to 25565 and the router is also ported to 25565 so I have no idea why I can't connect from my external IP. I feel like even though I ported on there (New) modem it still isn't recognizing it.
  21. So after upgrading my WiFi speed and then changing the modem out, I was still ported on my net-gear (stand alone router). However I knew I had to re-port on the New 'Bell HUB 1000' and even after doing so I still could not connect to my MC (test) server to test if the port has successfully worked. So my network layout is some what like this: SERVER ---> Router(builtin switch) ------> Modem(with builtin router but disabled) ---> ISP(AKA INTERNET) On the server end minecraft (what I'm testing with) is running on port 25565 and 25575 (two servers) have have the internal ip of 192.168.1.14. Both the Router(Net Gear) and modem have the (25565 and 25575) ported so I don't know why it is not working. Any ideas? The server is also running an DNS server so the server can be connected to with out the IP.
  22. Are you running AMD's crimson drivers?
  23. Send an account ticket to steam might be a problem on their end not yours.
  24. What are your specs more interested in the graphics card and motherboard can usually be the culprit.
