  6. consider yourself lucky then. Europe is getting butt fucked because what even is currency. 1049€ for the 480GB SSD I could fly to New York, buy it there, fly back and pay import tax and that would still be cheaper than buying local.
  7. It's a feature of certain electric motor designs and it can happen to a lot of different devices (including cars). So next time this happens to you, you know what to do first
  8. @ibrahimwa1 turn your PC on and give the pump a whack or 3. Sometimes they get stuck in a position where the electric motor is not able to start. Had that two times with my Swiftech H240x
  9. It's waiting for a magic packet so it can wake you PC from its slumber. in BIOS you can find a setting along the lines of ErP ready. set it to enable and the LEDs should turn off
  10. actually, mine was lower than I had set it to and no matter what I tried I could get it above 1.24V even with stupid amounts of offset ( I need 1.26V for 4.3GHz) I think the default one is either auto (so whatever) or 3 but don't quote me on that.
  11. afaik it's profile that sets a certain voltage according to your CPU multiplier. 3-7 are ramping profiles with 1,2,8 and 9 being special ones which I haven't figured out yet, but since I run 7 I don't need an offset anymore and never had any problems for over a year now
  12. @ShaQ had a simmilar problem with my Asus X99-S. Set Load Line Calibration to 7 then you should be fine.
  13. @WhiteSkyMage I run the original waterblock, an EK Titan Pascal and an additional 360 rad on it and I'm still fine with just 25% PWM power on it. If you don't change the tube size and if you're fine with having 2 barb fittings then you don't need to change anything, but if you want to change one thing you'll need the adapter and 2 G1/4 fittings for that. The adapter just gives you a standard G1/4 thread on the pump like the one in the red circle.
  14. Welcome to the Star Citizen subforum, it's even worse here than over at console gaming. This is the main reason everyone went over to Discord which you should totally join. Link in my sig. Specs wise you're good for 1440p, but since CIG needs to work on threading you will rarely see more than 30fps in the PU. No amount of hardware will change that. 3.0 will bring some improvments but no numbers yet.
  15. Well right now it's just tooling around with the stuff they managed to get in until now. Since there is little persistence as of now we basically just go ham and try stupid stuff like pushing asteroids around, stacking ships on top of another or trolling other players. This usually ends up like this: And since Gamescom is coming around I'd wait for that since they always had some deals going on during that
  16. @QuiglywaWelcome to the rabbit hole. Please check your sanity at the reception, here's your room key: https://discordapp.com/invite/0ZFgG6Y9m9xdFg17
  17. Most of the core members are on the official LTT Conglomerate Discord server so all the discussion happens there. Link is in my sig if you're interested. 3.0 does look cool but we are stuck with 2.6.3. for another month so everyone is just bored with the game right now (unless you're super competitive) and is just waiting for the publich test patch to come out.
  18. Prime gives you unlimited photo storage and they even honor .psd, .tiff, .dng and your various SOOC raw files. I'm looking into sia.tech right now. Seems to be intersting especially considering I could just pop in another 8TB into my server and rent that out to almost nullify my monthly costs.
  19. the amount of necessary trust for random people on the internet? dunno, I'm usiing rclone to have it encrypted as well but --bandwidthlimit doesn't work particularly well
  20. according to /r/datahoarder this is not yet enforced, but with a shit ton of people hoppping on now this might change rather quickly, but even then it seems to be th cheapest option for now
  21. I had crashplan before but it was terribly slow (took me 6 months to reach sync) and it just stopped working for me all together after about 8 months.
  22. well they got rid of 3rd party app support 3 weeks ago as well. because of a security breach that was discovered recently. Now I lost my perfectly fine 9TB backup because I can't decrypt it anymore. RIP 2 months worth of upload Time to hop onto Gsuite and start all over
  23. @Elerek literally can't read your post some textmarking later I can tell you that it's up to you to make that decision or you could just stockpile some 0$ CCUs until they're gone and test out both of them and see what you like more. Also I'm not sure if the reliant has a bed which will be very conveniant for exploration. (being able to leave the game and have your ship despawn anywhere as long as you're alone)
