Thanks soo much, I'll take a look at emulator-based stuff and "move or die" as well, the story part isn't that important as Rayman also does not offer a "deep story" And I downloaded "Battleblock Theater" yesterday and tried it by myself, looks also really fun, since we played through Origins and with Legends we have only some time-levels left and we really enjoyed this game (although sometimes I have viewport problems on my 21:9, but still really fun game, even for my girlfriend that otherwise isn't too much into videogames). So once again, thanks to you all!

Yeah, forgot to mention in the title, we already did

Thanks a lot, Battleblock Theater looks like a lot of fun!

Hi LTT community, I have a question for you, I love to play Rayman Legends/Origins in local coop with my girlfriend and have been looking for a follow up title for us! Do you know of any titles that are similar in style (so local coop, not a dark scenario, maybe a platformer like Rayman)? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and best regards from Austria

LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway
delanyinspiron6400 replied to CPotter's topic in LTT Releases
Damn, this is an awesome projector, the most amazing thing is the distance required, that is always a problem with other projectors for me, this seems to absolutely nail this! -
Absolutely love it! I kind of enjoy vessel now, YouTube with all their sh*t lately gets on my nerves to be honest, they always mess with my subscriber list and don't show all videos and so on! And also, I see this as a good possibility to help out LTT! And by the way, this was maybe the funniest video I've ever seen from you guys, absolutely amazing! The production quality is unbelievable!

Sony's PlayStation VR costs $399 and is coming in October
delanyinspiron6400 replied to piemadd's topic in Tech News
Can anyone enlighten me please! How is this supposed to work, on the one side we have the PS4 which can even properly render modern games at 900p/30fps and now on the other hand it is supposed to render games at 1080p/120fps? This would require a performance increase of way over 4x! The only way I can think of is by using ultra-low quality games that can even be rendered by iGPUs in high framerates, but not any 'real' games?! -

Quite surprised, as English is not my native language. Seems that with a mechanical keyboard everything is possible

BlackBerry bashes Apple for protecting criminals’ privacy
delanyinspiron6400 replied to VAkena's topic in Tech News
To be honest, I think this is a great stance from Blackberry, as this is never an easy topic to bring up for the people on the internet, as they always seem to cling to "ultimate privacy, no access". I think, a fair balance should be struck and therefore im completely in line with Blackberry, they recently announced, that they would leave a market (in Pakistan), as they wanted unrestricted access to their servers and their data, which they obviously don't want to give in to, but Apple seems to have no problem with. But to refuse an lawful request in case of a criminal seems to me a completely valid point to give access to. Go Blackberry- 62 replies

Can't wait for this phone, after my Bold 9700 -> Bold 9900 -> Torch 9800 -> Z10 -> Q10 -> Z30 -> Passport -> Classic -> Passport it is finally time to switch to android... or is it blackberry again Really can't wait for this phone, there would be only one thing, which would make it even better, QNX with Android running in a Hypervisor kernel

If that is your usecase, most certainly not, a difference like that would make no difference. But do so many people keep their system running 24/7, is it really that common? I don't know, I have my system on about 5-7 hours a day typically, and most of the time, the screen is also turned on, I shut it off over night. For me personally, the information that I require when looking for a GPU is how much power does it draw under load (to estimate how much PSU wattage I need) and how much power does it draw, when I'm not taxing it with heavy work but just casually listening to music or something like that.

[updated] The Tech Report won't receive a R9 Fury Nano for review
delanyinspiron6400 replied to zMeul's topic in Tech News
Just my own two cents to the whole topic of "not choosing fair games to benchmark". I guess most people, that look for benchmarking results to compare graphics cards, don't want to know, which card "potentially" is the more advanced, more powerful card! I guess people want to know, which card can push more fps in games, that they will be playing, and such games happen to be The Witcher 3, Project Cars and so on, which run better on Nvidia cards, for whatever reason. So I would argue, that the choice of games does not necessarily make a review fair or unfair!- 126 replies
