  1. Hi guys. So for TWO FAKIN YEARS I tried to make AtiFlash work, but every time I couldn't so I just either unsoldered BIOS and flashed it or or got around it somehow with win version... but now my client has 95 GPUs that need to be flashed ASAP or else they'll actually fry. And he has no OS on machines, because Linux pendrives. So I made BIOS mod and... Atiflash doesn't work. For RX 580 on BTC+ H110 Asrock: Either 2.77 or 2.74 of AtiFlash doesn't work. YES I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WINFLASH AND FLASH Tried: HP Format with it's DOS, Org. Win98boot files, both Rufus DOS modes with MS-DOS and FreeDOS Tried also at: 970M Pro3 + R9 380X and AB350M + R9 380.... same thing. Da hell am I doing it wrong?
  2. Hi, How to set up worker name through Claymore? It resetted for me after bios update on h110 btc pro I tried look up readme or console commands but entering worker field in config.txt or console blocks key input only as command shortcuts
  3. I have this board and Vengence LPX 3000Mhz CL15. This board has awful auto timings, so don't feel baffled if stock XMP doesn't work - just adjust manually up to manufacturers spec. In my configuration at BIOS F22b, F22 and F23d they work OK till 2800 MHz, where YouTube starts artifacting. Till 2993 MHz everything is OK beside YT and 3000 MHz works, but has slight hiccup issues. Everything is FINE if you're using dGPU, problems are only when using Vega 11.
  4. Hi So after I switched to an SSD as a boot drive my game library HDD keeps falling asleep after a while and thus introduce stutter when loading new textures (I can hear the platter starting to spin up as stutter occurs) So I contacted Gigabyte about the issue and: -my AB350N Wifi has supposedly no controll of disk sleep -in Win10 I have High Performance power plan with HDD Sleep Time: 0, so that means turned off. Same for USB devices is set to Disable. In Device Manager I have no tab of "Power Managment" on my HDD. Any other ideas on what's wrong?
  5. Ab350mn gaming wifi on latest f22 nonbeta. So... But still? Why? It's only on YT and only few channels. Like Gamers Nexus and Thatdudeinblue, but on LTT and Hardware Unboxed... No. Wtf.
  6. Already done. I don't remember having such issues at stock. Is there any way to force video decoding through CPU tho?
  7. Hi ppl, just a quick question I was using my R5 2400G with a borrowed RX 580 for some time and nothing was wrong, no bsods, no errors, no nothing. When I switched back to iGPU after giving back the 580 I noticed artifacting on YT videos - while using 2x speed on 1080p60 or scrubbing 5sec prev/next with keys. Artifacts range from missed frames to completly blank gray screen. But it happens ONLY on YT. I suspect that it MIGHT be RAM issue? I have Corsair LPX 3000 CL15 RAM (set to either native XMP profile or same but with multiplier set to 29 for 2933mhz) but issue persists. Da heck?
  8. So. The problem was that in this laptop button is center bottom of touchpad. And for some apparent reason if you don't latch on it your HDD cage it stops registring even though that you screw the disk in as normaly
  9. IMO it's complete BS or marketing spam. Cuz in the report they say something about "it can be fixed with firmware update, but it would need few months of research"... and they they inform AMD 24h prior. WTF. I don't like conspiracy theories, but I feel like this could be Intel's way of "leveling the playing field" since everything seems so overly rushed and the principles of exploit are basically the same.
  10. Well it does everything right... beside the left/right clicks. And both I and my neighbour care, since if it's a LAPtop then you kinda actually need full mouse capabilities.
  11. Hi guys, so recently I got my neighbour's laptop in, for a chek-up and I had to disassemble it and take out the hard drive. No problem, reassembled it back together and everything seemed ok... but for some apparent reason there is no left/right click and touchpad corners are just like "sinking in" endlessly. I cheked the ribbon for touchpad but it still doesn't do anything and in the place of clicks there is... nothing. only plastic legs. wtf?
  12. That's just flipping the definition of "sample size" on this topic, but whatever.
  13. If between my freakin reinstalls on ALL of my hardware the ONLY thing that changes on them is operating system and Win10 is NOTICEABLY slower on stock settings then IT MUST BE Win10. There is no escape from this logic, no matter if I saw it on old Sempron, old P8400, Ivy Bridge i3 or my main 8320.
  14. Problem is that the issue persists even when backed down to Win8 p.p As if the system reflashed the sound controller by itself, no matter how unlikely it sounds. I cannot get this thing to output more than like... 30% volume that it once had? Before 1709 I could listen to YT vids comfortably on 12/100 - now it is barely audible and the preupdate dB level is somewhere around 70-80 mark. So basically "I don't need proof, but you need to find a proof"? Ya, sounds like logic. I do want to know why though, since even when we install these OSes on fresh new HDDs they tend to hiccup a lot during first few hours/days like crazy, even after getting drivers and such done. We had even some returned to us after a week or so with a comment "it runs slow now" after getting a fresh install of Win10. On SATA/PCIe SSD the issue is no more, but that is to be expected. And before anybody asks, we usually get latest distro iso from MS site, so there are no update issues to speak of.
