  1. This video is letterboxed. You used to upload your custom aspect ratio videos, but now I have these black bars on top and bottom (in addition to sides). It ruins the experience a bit. SICK `puter, though!
  2. It would be super cool to have this in my living room. I hope I win.
  3. The keyboard. Plain and simple, no macro keys mumbo jumbo, super smooth design. I love it.
  4. I hope this is the right place to ask this. It's kind of tech related. So - I will be wisiting Chicago for Microsoft Ignite and would like to know if there are some good stores with mechanical keyboards somewhere near this place here (I'm not super rich, my company is kind of rich ;d)? Like a mall or something? Maybe I should order from NewEgg or something and get it delivered to the hotel (if it's even possible)? I want something with full anti-ghosting, backlight and num-pad, and all this is crazy expensive in Poland (I wonder how will it be with USD-PLN exchange rate...) and there is not much choice either. Anyway, I want to ask for some good stores. If I have to go somewhere outside downtown it would have to be not too far away. I will have to fly this thing back to my country but I don't think that would be a huge problem.
  5. I got the owl because of the STRIX, not the other way around.
  6. STRIX is just plain awesome
  7. You may also want to overclock your CPU to at least 4,5GHz. CPU is THE bottleneck for this game.
  8. You can download this demo and run it on your PC. It's real-time of course.
  9. Well, what I am genuinely afraid of is that the cpu utilization will suck just like in Dying Light or recent Ubisoft games and the gpu will be bored out of its cores. This is starting to look like a standard feature for current gen ports where the game was developed for all platforms at once... please correct me of I'm wrong. Does DA:I also have this problem? Or any other recent game?
  10. He is saying that they will display 30 on recommended specs, not clarifying if it's a lock (it's not mentioned or suggested), but I doubt that, it sounds more like they are not aiming to optimize this game to the point it could run at 60 but rather 30.
  11. This is the quote from the interview: A wszystkie modele i tekstury są takie same? Are all models and textures the same? Tak, jest tylko jedna wersja, bez tego nie bylibyśmy w stanie stworzyć gry na czas. Yes, there is only one version, otherwise we wouldn't be able to develop the game on time. He also states that, for example, the draw distance for grass is very similar on all platrofms. Main differences will come from GameWorks technologies but you will need a beastly rig to run those. Reasumując, jest niewiele różnic pomiędzy PC, PlayStation 4 a Xboksem One, raczej rozwiązują pewne błędy niż zmieniają konfigurację. To sum it up, there are very little differences between PC, PS4 and XONE, they are rather solving some issues [memory usage, for example] instead of changing the [build] configuration.
  12. Yes, that is the case. There is only one set of assets for each platform and different builds that differ by memory optimization. At least that's in this interview. I guess only Luka or any other game dev can tell us how to achieve lower res textures for lower PC settings. Maybe they have some sort of mass resize tool for them?
  13. This source is legit, it's true, one of the dev guys said that in the interview. The assets are basically the same, they are only handling memory different on XO, PS4 and PC, eg. loading less complex models on weaker machines if they are far away from the camera. There is one build for each platform with all the same assets. They are also deliberately not giving lowered minimum and recommended specs so there will be no bitching afterwards, but working on optimizing the game until the very end so they may be lowered a bit (I doubt that).
  14. No issues, probably because I cannot fill the 0,5GB in any game I have... http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/299722-strix-gtx970-vram-i-cant-get-past-35g-in-any-game/
