So ive done a speed test for my internet connection and i get 12mb down and 800kb up but when i download say from steam or something like that i get max of about 1.5mb download can anyone explain why that might be happening? If so thatd be awesome!

So ive had this external hard drive for a bit and ive had it plugged into the usb 3.1 port on the back of my computer and just suddely oneday now it wont connect, the blue led doesnt turn on and you can hear the drive start up but then it just doesnt go any further than that although for some reason it still works in a usb 2.0 port, does anyone know what might have caused this?

Would there be any reason id need a stronger processor? Like is there anything that would need processing that i dont realize?

Im looking at building a nas/htpc but my main issue is that i cant seem to pick a cpu because im not sure what to look for, i was leaning towards just a celeron g1840 because i dont plan on doing any transcoding, just transfering files between computers and using this pc really as mass storage, all content thatll be watched will be on a laptop or another computer so i dont think i need a strong processor because no transcoding is needed, i just want to be able to share movies from one place instead of having a bunch of external hard drives everywhere, would this cpu fit my needs?

I have a msi 970a sli krait edition motherboard, That is another update to my build ive just added too, the speeds dont bother me too much as long as i could get crossfire its self to work But it something just doesnt seem to be registering

So ive just updated my build with a second r9 280x but i dont think its working i then went to gpuz and checked everything and it said that the bus interface was PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x8 1.1, Im pretty sure this is bad but if not is there anything anyone can think of to get this fixed? Thankyouuu

Hey so i got a new motherboard recently and im trying to work it all out, its my first uefi board so theres alot new to me, ive installed windows 8.1 on the board but now just after the post screen it bluescreens then restarts. ive made sure the boot order is right and cause this is a fresh install i cant imagine its any drivers or anything like that, ive tried disconnecting all other drives and usb devices that arent in use but im still getting this problem. Please help? Thankyou.

I Tried disconnecting the drive and Got a New Blue screen "WHEA_UUNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" ALthough it still boots when using f11 as normal

I wasnt sure if maybe enabling something like secure boot might fix it, i havent played with any of the bios settings yet

Yeah whenever i boot using f11 it 100% always loads up fine, but when i leave it for whatever reason it bluescreens or just freezes,
