  1. as far as i know all an RFID chip can do is link you to an external database of stored information about a person, that would be great if they could link the 2 together i think this just reads your vitals! ( i know i Australia they tried to release a health card that stored your information, so hospitals could easily share it. but people got up in arms about privacy breach's  .)
  2. We are so thinking the same! let's go even further what if it was compatible with the Dr.google and it used that information to give you that information to your phone, never have to worry about going to the dr's again for simple things.
  3. I don't know you could just as easily wear it under your shirt , imagine your at hospital and you have this on, your nurse could know if you flip in to a funky heart rhythm even if she's on break.
  4. So i'm pretty sure this isn't a duplicate post! ( i used the search function, I'm fairly new though, apologies if i have it wrong!) How cool is this, a company called Chaotic Moon Studio has released a temporary tattoo to mimic the functions of wearable tech! It mimics wearable's like fitibit etc, I'd really love to see this technology put to use in the medical field. imagine the possibility's. The original article can be found here: http://www.news.com.au/technology/gadgets/wearables/a-company-is-developing-a-temporary-tattoo-to-mimic-the-functions-of-wearable-tech/news-story/a29dba02f7ed6054ee167244be6858c2 I'd like to know where you think this technology would fit in the market place? Hello new friend :D

    Thanks! :) hello back :)
  6. im pretty new to this, so im a terrible poster. i like the term clickbait though! theres a boring bit in the article were the compare the sudden growth ovefhe ip5 to the ip6 and predict it will do the same thing ( have big opening sales the quickly decline) and this will lead apple to look into other avenues ie watches, tv ext. its in the link. Whats NN is it like netflix?
  7. its my first name go figure,
  8. I'm a children's health nurse, but you never know i might be useful for some questions! (sadly for myself and countless other's who perhaps use too much screen time, the medical community hasn't come up with a solution for squareyes .
  9. Just seen this article which speculates apple might be planning to update the Apple TV and finally dive into the TV market with some sort of streaming service of its own. curious? i wonder if it will flop? article retrived from: http://www.businessinsider.com.au/apples-growth-could-slow-down-2015-4 Apple shares tanked, then bounced back. Will it happen again? Looking beyond the iPhone, Apple has other ways to drive revenue growth. Cook said demand for the Apple Watch has exceeded supply by a long shot. Apple is reportedly ordering aiming for 10-20 million watches in this fiscal year. With an average selling price of $US600, that would be an extra $US6 billion-$US12 billion in revenue. Then, there’s future, unannounced products. There are reports that Apple is planning to tackle streaming music, and streaming TV. On the earnings call, Cook was fairly cryptic in this regard. He was asked about HBO Now, HBO’s new streaming service that launched starting with the Apple TV. An analyst wanted to know if this was a sign of things to come for Apple or if it was a one-off deal. “Where could it go? I don’t want to speculate,” said Cook. “But you can speculate probably as good as I can about where that can go. I think we’re on the early stages of just major, major changes in media that are going to be really great for consumers, and I think Apple could be a part of that.” Since Cook doesn’t want to speculate, we will. It sounds like Apple is planning to update the Apple TV and finally dive into the TV market with some sort of streaming service of its own. Putting it all together, Apple has a lot of opportunities in front of it with a variety of new products in development that could offset any potential slow down for the iPhone. So, while there may be a looming slow down, unlike with the iPhone 5, this time Apple is well prepared with a variety of new products.
  10. bit slow on the uptake but i joined sounds like a wonderful idea! worried about battery life though.
  11. Well Said Zappian! Agreed it could have turned out differently with better planning and fore thought, of the community.

  14. Hey so welcome to my broke build, I built this project with mike, who will be ashamed I posted this up in the forum. I'm a pretty casual gamer and use my rig mostly for study ( in 2 units away from qualifying as a teacher , im procrasting by writting this now ). I wanted to build a little a little home for my forlorn dalek, and make my ghetto computer seem more warm and friendly. I Cant shut my case as my Evo 212, has little copper pipes which poke out and prevent me from closing it, (which if anyone has any solutions which don't include filing them down, gore city style, please let me know! and doesn't cost anything hahaha) there is minimal cable management. Inside includes a: (will be updating this slowy, as i acrew shiny penny's and aquire new parts for the beast) Case: BitFenix Neos Mid Tower Case with Window White/Purple CPU cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X CPU Cooler CPU: Potato Grade (available only for collage students) Motherboard: Potato Grade GPU: Galax GeForce GTX 960 EXOC 2GB PSU: Cougar CMX850 850W Power Supply RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws (2x4GB) DDR3 HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB This project was brought to you by procrastination,
