I ended up getting it, and I love it so far And yes, the stereo is amazing and easily keeps up with the overkill aftermarket systems that some of my friends have.
I found out that the reason it felt lacking in power earlier was the lazy CVT gearbox which just has awful programming for the general "D" mode.
When you want to actually drive it, it has a tiptronic shift gate that let's you shift through 6 fake "gears" and lets you downshift on demand and keep the revs up higher before shifting. As stupid as it does feel actually shifting using tiptronic it makes a very noticeable performance difference, especially when passing somebody.
When you want to drive more economically you can also use it to intentionally shift at low revs, which doesn't really hinder performance that much in city driving. This is also proven because when under normal driving habits, shifting manually and keeping the revs below 2500 vs leaving it in D which holds revs about 3500 from a launch until you reach your desired speed and let off, dash computer shows ~3MPG better.
CVT... it's lazy in performance, and it also could be doing better for fuel economy, what's the point of it? I'm pretty much manually shifting 100% of the time now. At least the fake "gears" work well. So far the only CVT I've driven that I've actually liked is Subaru, more specifically a 2014 Forester XT.
