  1. Hi So my iMac has been lying around unused since I built my PC but I've recently heard that the 27" iMac supports displayport in as well as out? Anybody have any experience with this and know what adapters/cable I could use? My iMac is from mid-2010 and the PC is running an R9-290 with a full displayport Thanks PS. Anyone know what repsonse time I could expect?
  2. He's living in the moment Thanks, looks like a good few options!
  3. He's already got peripherals and W8, so he doesn't really need anything in that department He's already got an SSD and a 2TB HDD, The list was mainly just to put it all in one place, he's buying it all from overclockers so prices are going to change anyway I was thinking 1*8GB stick, but it's unlikely he'll need that much ram and they (Overclockers) only have 2 options for single 8GB sticks also the one's i chose were 1.5v I couldn't find the same ones on pcpp
  4. So I'm building a PC for a family member for around £1200 This is what I've got so far: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3aTgu Any suggestions on improvements that could be made? Also no storage is required. Thanks
  5. My cousin dropped his macbook and took it in to have the screen replaced ( not cracked but just not turning on ) they called him and told him they wouldn't charge him because it was just a loose connection and that they'd fix it for free. I was quite impressed with that, it wasn't in warranty or anything.
  6. The neck of the bottle I'm using as a case
  7. Spent an hour wondering why it wasn't booting up, oh there's a switch on the PSU!
  8. Damn, I hoped it was because they realised it was slow as hell and were planning on re-releasing a better version...
