2. Thank you Linus for the giveaway. Keep up the good work
3. The R9 290x Gaming has been spotted and it is a shocker it looks like all the other MSI gaming cards. I want to see what the lighting looks like. I really hope that these cards are launch soon. Source: http://videocardz.com/48361/msi-radeon-r9-290x-gaming-revealed
4. One he just got out of the hospital. I am pritty sure he still has stiches in his mouth. And if you don't like the way he does reviews don't watch them.
5. Thanks to Linus and Intel for this chance.
6. That is only with adaptive voltages. If you set it locking in the voltages then prime will not hurt you. It is still a great way to see if you set up is stable. You lock the voltages then run the bench after switch it to adaptive.
7. But Titan is based on gk110 not the gk 104. The gk110 is a very large chip. You can there for pack a lot of cuda cores into it. Amd had made a different sized chip in awile. They have use two smaller chips on the same pcb to satisfy the very high end cards. So that would mean that the 9990 or what ever the call it would go toe to toe with the Titan at the 1000 dollar range. If the 9970 is faster than Titan then this thing would beat Titan by a lot.
8. From my understanding Haswell has a large range of overclocking potential. Some will hit 4.5 and up and others will struggle to hit 4.2 with the same voltages. Sounds like you miss out on the silicon lottery.
9. I have the asus motherboard and I would say it is worth 30 extra dollars. A more stable overclock and blue tooth build in. I actually have the asus in a prodigy and it work like a dream.
10. I would go with ether the gigabyte ga z77x ud3h, the ga z77x ud5h or the asus p8z77-v. Maybe a msi
11. It run about 65c on Hardware Monitor with prime large FFTs. I have some more room for overclocking thanks to the H100i
12. How old is the hard drive? It could have a damage section. If it does then when it goes to read it, the pc will freeze.
13. You can save some money and get the fx 8320 instead of the 8350. You can use the money on a after market heat sink so you can overclock. You can get the 8320 in the same range as the 8350. (Silicon lottery)
14. You are better off getting some thing like a 7750 or 650. There are latency issues with crossfire at the moment. Also you will get better frame rates with a better gpu. Also with an APU I would recommend fast ram. It helps the APU out a lot.
15. I would say wait till atleast they fix the Xfire issues. I would personly wait till 8000 cards. Also 1 gb or 2 gb card?
16. You are better off stay at stock clock speeds and lowering your voltage till you get it stable. They slow upping the Clock speeds and voltage. Very easy on the core voltage. You also have to remember each chip is different so someone else setting will not work for necessarily.
17. You will not have any bottleneck with those parts. I do have a suggestion to make. I would Recommend the 7870XT. The 7870XT is a Tahiti Core like the 7900 series cards. In my opinion it is the best bang for you buck out there. Also what case are you putting into because you need to make sure that i will fit the rad for the H100i.
18. It looks good the only thing I would change is the graphics card if you are spending 240 the. Get the 7870xt over the 7870 ghz. The only thing I would change. Well maybe getting a mobo with the 990fx chipset for the fx8350
19. as for the GPUs i dont know i have 2 Amd cards and they show up as Radion 1 and Radion 2.
20. have a H80i and i am using PWM Fans and i did update it to the newest firmware no noise
21. What type of a case do you have and can you fit a H100i or is the case to small. Also will you be planing to expand on the loop because the only choice then is the Swiftech H220 . Also the Swiftech is a great performer if you add the right fans. It uses copper fins instead of the aluminum fins the other closed loop coolers use. If you dont want all that i would recommend the h100i. The corsair link software is really good and allows a lot of flexibility.

Unless you are doing a mini itx build with no room for a big air cooler then i would recommend the H80i again for the Corsair link software. Hope this helps.
