  1. Hi, I have an older system than I want to give to my parents to pay their bills. I have a MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) with a core i5-2500k. Not the newest stuff I know but more than enough for their use case.... Anyway, the system was working great for the past 12 years, no issue at all. I took the MB out, left the cpu and Ram (4x4 gb) in and swapped my new parts. I kept my case and PSU, gpu and tower cooler. Now about 1 month later, i started building thier PC with my old parts. Used their old case, bought a brand new cx450m psu, bought a used AMD RX550, put on the stock Intel heartsick (that I never used).....and nothing. No beep codes, no display, nothing. Here is what I tried: Removed ram, used all the different slots. Tests other ram, Reseat cpu Replugged my original psu Tested the RX550 in my system and works Tested with my GTX1080 ti (no video, no beep) No RAM : 3 short beeps (so good...) No GPU: 1 long beep + 2 short beeps ( so good too...) Clear CMOS button Clear CMOS jumper Changed CMOS battery Unpluged everything, USB, Sata...no beep I'm confused. Everything worked perfectly until last month. The MB CPU and Ram are all the same... Thank you for your help
  2. Is there a way to use your Amazon affiliate link within the Amazon App (android for example). It's so simple now to order through the app. If there is no affiliate link type of thing, is there another way you can get a kick back. I don't know if it is possible, but maybe through using a sort of coupon code that only links to you.
  3. Nice Giveaway!! I'd take the Razor Blade since I don't need the ultra-portableness and the 4k screen of the Stealth. I'd would be nice to finally replace my aging HP laptop from way back in 2009. Good thing I have an amazing desktop!!
  4. I want it!! LOL... Still on my two old HD6870's, time for an upgrade
  5. CPU : Core i5-2500K OC @ 4.2Ghz GPU : Crossfire : MSI Hawk HD6870 + XFX Black Edition HD 6870 OC @ 940 Mhz Core 1150 Mhz VRAM RAM : 16Gb - 4x4GB GSkill DDR3-1600 CL9 OS : Win 10 Failed catastrophically...Again, my GPUs are done
  6. Got the message too. Couldnt believe Linus would ask you to complete a stupid offer to claim a prize.
  7. So I went with the K70 with Brown keys. I'm pleased with it and would buy again for sure. Having never typed on a mechanical KB before, there is a little learning curve, specially not to bottom out the keys.
  8. Congrats!! Been following you from the start and watched pretty all videos. You have great content!! Keep up the good work.
  9. Hey guys, I'm also looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard...and really have no idea what to go for. I have never used a mechanical kb before and never seen anybody use one. Worst, there isn't anywhere around here I can go try one out since all I have are Best Buys, Future Shop and Staples. So my main interrogation is what switch to pick. From what I could read here and around and from YT videos, I'm leaning towards Browns. I do some typing and some gaming, pretty much half and half. I play pretty much any kind of games. I figure Blues would be way too loud and without the bump, not sure about typing with Reds. Since I can't try any of them and have to order over the net, I have to make a safe choice, that's why I'm leaning on the Browns. The best I could get my hands on is a Razer BlackWidow with their own green switches, which I think compares to Cherry Blues. So would you agree Browns are a safe bet?? For the keyboard selection, I'm looking at the Corsair K70. It has all the features I'm looking for and lacks the ones I don't want. Also like the unique look! I'm open to suggestions though. Here is what I'm looking for: - Available with Brown Switches (Unless you tell me otherwise) - Backlit - Dedicated Media Keys - Numpad - Normal layout - No macro keys (won't use them anyway) Thanks
  10. Nice giveaway!! Love the front speakers....Happy other manufacturers are getting on the HTC track since its probably one of the best things from my HTC One (M7)...(broken....)(need a new phone....)(please....) And about Dbrand. Sincerely didn't know of them. Checked out there website and they do sick stuff! Cheers
  11. VERY COOL Giveaway!! In my PC, I currently have a Patriot Wildfire 120GB SSD as boot drive. Got that when it came out about 2 years ago since it ways pretty much the fastest drive out there at the time. I also have a 2TB WD Black HDD for games, media and pretty much every thing else. There is also a 500GB WD Green in there, for other storage. It used to be in an external enclosure, but the PCB in the enclosure died so I salvaged the drive from it. I've been looking at the Red's for a while now. I'm actually planing on building a NAS to connect my laptop, PS3 and smartphone, but I don't really have the funds right now. This would of course kickstart the project!
