    Still happens with WMP, Groove does not though. Just opened up WMP to check if it is just groove that doesn't recognize the art, and WMP resized my album art. Now I have to get album art again :angry:. I don't get why they do this. Every time I install windows I have to always make sure I disable WMP automatic info retrieval before I load my music, just in case I have to use it and it messes up my collection. Its like they designed the player to annoy people! Welp, retuning back to foobar!

    Sup, So after migrating to windows 10 I decided to give groove music a chance (I used to exclusively use foobar on my last setup). So far so good, but I have one question, does anyone know what format Groove music requires the album art to be in for flac files? I ask because for my mp3's .jpg works both imbedded and a folder.jpg. But for .flac, I tried embedded .png/jpg as well as a folder.jpg/png and a cover.jpg/png and nothing works so any ideas? Thanks in advance

    lol, ty so much for the help and the quick replies. I was about to do that, but then I tried to restart and indexing started to work again :blush: ​​ Guess I forgot the number 1 rule in trouble shooting "Thought shall turn it off and on again"

    Yup clean install, I upgraded and selected wipe just to activate windows 10. Then I downloaded the iso and formatted both my drives. So as clean as it gets I noticed similar threads on the windows 10 subedit but no solution was posted as of yet

    Hello. So I upgraded to windows 10 yesterday and everything was going well, I had no issues with drivers or anything else. But today I noticed that apps don't show when I search for them. If I type in groove or edge I get nothing even though it was working perfectly fine yesterday. I started to notice after I installed Office and VS 2015 and couldn't find them by searching. I think this is an indexing problem, since all my searches also show the "We're getting search ready" banner at the top of the search area. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so have is there a fix? Thank you so much in advance

    I upgraded and have downloaded the iso so that i can do a clean install. However, something doesn't seem right here. Why was the Update folder 6 GB but the iso only 3.5?

    Same Here, I have a sandisk extreme USB 3.0 64 gig stick and i tried formatting it to exFat and NTFS, neither worked.

    I reserved my copy and the folder does exist in my C drive but it only has sources in it and its not hidden, Also Windows ~WS also showed up. I'm getting so impatient, Does the upgrade tool work or does it break activation?

    Ok, after reading the article all i have to say is what a garbage excuse! The core issue appears to be the same thing that has been rehashed for many years. Music rights holders are worried about piracy, nothing more nothing less, every point they bring up is irrelevant. The fact that there are multi track high quality recordings doesn't mean anything because, as a quick google search will show, both the high quality tracks and their multi track versions are already available online. Moreover, if they use the same encryption on the files for the PC version as the console version then then it should not matter, yes the files on pc maybe easier to work with and hence crack, but that hasn't stopped any other company like spotify from allowing people to access music apps on their PC. Its called a risk. Finally, do you want to know the most ironic thing in all of this so far? That same google search I conducted earlier to check the multi tracks out, showed a website that got its multi tracks from the console version of rock band. This COMPLETELY undermines their argument. Piracy existed on the console version beforehand, not bringing it to PC will not change that! /rant

    Hmm, good point about ripping the drive out of the enclosure, never thought of that Also i did a bit of research and apparently the drives in the new mybooks are green 4TB drives with 8 MB cache. This begs a new question, is there a significant difference between an 8 MB (drive in mybook) cache drive and a 64MB cache drive ( standard 4TB WD caviar green), all things being equal?     The purpose for this is just "expansion" storage and archival for my laptop, I have a 2 TB and a 1 TB for transfers. Also wait, so a mybook will have higher transfer speeds than a green or a seagate 4tb ? PS: lol, never knew about the follow topic button

    Hello, So I'm currently thinking of buying a new external storage hard rive (WD mybook 4TB) to use. However, after seeing the latest handy tech under $100, I got an idea: Buy a Thermaltake Sata HDD USB Docking Station for about 55 CAD and then combine it with a 4 TB seagate or wd drive for about 160 CAD. The two primary reasons I am looking at a solution like this is that when I build a PC or NAS i will be able to reuse the drives, buying the drives alone will be cheaper than buying a new mybook every time i need to expand. Moreover, It would also provide more flexibility since I can chose the drives. I would like to ask, am I correct in my assumptions above? what are the drawbacks to a system like this? Also which would be faster something like a 4TB green on the dock or a mybook 4TB? Finally has anyone else tried this before Thanks in advance
