  1. current build : 4.7 ghz Amd 8350 h100i cpu cooler push/pull Haf 922 case sabertooth 990fx r2 mobo 4 noctua static fans corsair 850 gold plus psu saphire 7970 oc crossfired 3tb hd 120gb samsung pro ssd asus xonar dg sound card 16gb crucial ballistix ram 1600 Aoc 27in 1080p monitor old school : 2.8ghz q6600 (cant oc more, cant set voltage on this mobo ><) seidon 120m closed loop water cooler rosewill small form factor case (bozon as Austin Evans calls it) Micro atx lga 775 gigabyte mobo 4gb ripsaw ram Gtx 460 Zotac ocz psu 600watts this is basically my htpc comp atm. it can still play through some new games on med/high settings like titanfall sniper elite etc.
  2. reinstall your drivers for the gpu and mobo. I had this same problem but mine turned out to be a power supply issue.
  3. i run textures in skyrim like crazy as well. this uses alot of cpu and vram. maybe that could be slowing you down
  4. i have this same cpu but with xfired 7970s. skyrim plays like butt on this cpu. granted its playable with xfire disabled but i still get dips from 60fps to 30-45 sometimes. game optimization and cpu are what holds it back a bit i think.
  5. i would check youtube for overclocking the 9590 with this board, cooler etc before you make the purchase.
  6. i have that same mobo with an amd 8350. i got it to 4.7 ghz stable on an h100i with temps under 63c. the dissipation in this board is pretty good. It can definately handle it. I think its gonna depend more on the airflow of the case you choose and the cpu cooler. i wouldnt put an air cooler on that beast unless it is noctua, especially if you plan on overclocking.
