A mechanical keyboard is usually of a pretty good build quality and can hold up longer than a membrane. It will feel different from a membrane and most people prefer a mechanical keyboard after having tried it. As for mice it's usually not as important, a gaming mouse offers thing such as a better sensor and ergonomics that fit the hand better, depending on how you grip the mouse this can be good. You should see if you can go to a local store and try some different mice and keyboards to see what you like.

I don't think I would pay a monthly subscription fee for anything. I like to own my content, and also have it in physical form. I won't ever buy a digital only copy of anything (except for games on steam sometimes). This goes for everything, not trying to justify piracy, I still think it's bad, but I don't think I would stop pirating stufff, it's just really convinient. Though by it beeing so convinient I have a tendancy to hoard stuff, music for the most part. I would love to buy all the music I've pirated but I just don't have the money to do that, atleast not all at once, I'm trying to buy thing as often as possible that I have pirated but buying a couple of houndred albums is quite expensive. I don't think the price is too high since I understand the the artists are trying to make a living off of making music.

I don't listen to music always when I game, it depends on the game, if the game is story based I don't have music on. When I have it's usually a whole bunch of J-core and sometimes game soundtracks.
