Alright. I just wanted to say how helpful you've been to me. I've posted so many forums on linustechtips.com, and usually after a couple back and forth conversations, the person tryna help me out always gets tired of questions and just leaves me there. Thanks!

    Solved.

For 1440p gaming 4GB VRAM are apropriate. 3 are possible. And 2GB VRAM and simply outdated and not sufficient even for 1080p ULTRA in newer titles. Go with a R9 290 it´s a fine card for the price.

The case is the same, just without the razer logo, and it's red.   If you want it to have a green and black scheme, just tell me.   This is my attempt, it's powerful and sexy .    I did not include the keyboard because it's all preference. It's up to you to decide, but if it really helps, I love Cherry MX Browns (has a bump midway thru press and easy to click)For OS, you can buy it for 15 bucks off of Reddit. www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap
Sorry if it kinda went over budget!   Good luck with your build!   EDIT: Oh crap! forgot that you needed the speakers and headsets, gonna fix your build to fix the budget EDIT: Just noticed that you already have a monitor! boy am I on a roll haha fixing

Well, aren't the LinusTechTips fans just having the worst luck ever. First, winners were supposed to be announced last week, and the WAN Show was postponed, then the winners were never announced and was supposed to be announced during today's WAN show, but then the LinusTechTips forum website went down and they couldn't announce it. So, let's hope we get those winners soon!

    And also...
What do you guys think the specs of the custom PC that Linus will build be? Overkill, or a PC for your average gamer?
