  1. My pc is the same same, but different, think it is 5+ year by now and it is All used parts more or less atleast. Started with a i5-4670 and a 770gtx, 8gb DDR 3, with the launch of the 900 series I got a deal on 2x 970 because the owner wanted a 980ti instead, so I got like 40 discount on a few month old cards, bought a new sli ready mobo for this tho. Friend saw a package deal on 16 gb DDR 3 from a shop that was closing, so we splitted those and got 8 each, so now I I'm on 16. Some time later with the new cpu release some dude sold a i7 4790k and a dh15 cooler for under 40% of a new price, and after I sold my i5 it was extremely cheap. Started hating my sli setup, sold a 970, ran single for some time, and boom comes the 1000 series, a mate of mine bends a fan on his 1070, takes it out of his pc cause it is "broken and noisy" I take that poor broken gpu home remove one of the 3 fans, stress test it and sees a max temp on 70c. Call my friend and says I wanna buy it for the lulz and get a fully functional 1070 for 1/3 of the asking price of a new one... So yeah, an all new used pc for cheap, still holds up nicely on a 1080 p / 120 Hz monitor, and don't see the point in upgrading yet cause my pc is crushing it price/$ wise ?
  2. How viable is raid 0 duel hdd as a budget minded ssd but with tons of space?
  3. What sites sink their prices on the 4 again? This could be very interresting
  4. So yeah I'm currently waiting for my double 970s to arrive at my door step any minute now, and I've been thinking since they are used cards and all... should I look out for something when I open them up and go for a test run on them ? I'm thinking about setting them in each one of the time to see about the temperature, but anything els I should especially look after ?
  5. Yello! So my question is that is it possible to "tweak" an i5-4670 into a light oc of some kind ? as far as my little knowledge goes you can't really heavy OC intel's none K version of their chips, but is it possible to set the performance on none k's on like maximum ? I got a ASRock Z87 Pro3 motherboard if it is any help. ' Cheers!
  6. Fine work there good sir! keep us updated to see if it is a mistake =)
  7. https://www.facebook.com/dateks.lv/timeline They seem to update their facebook with news etc, could they be legit ? cause a 980 at that pricepoint is very tempting
  8. Found this site when i was searching around youtube for guide and general knowledge on graphic cards i should buy, and then i found linus tech tips, and after that it actually escalated a little bit. I started seeing every "Fast as possible" video there were cause the information were so good and easy to understand that i just couldn't get myself to stop, after that i more or less watched the benchmarks test video's and i must admit i got alttile hooked on those test and numbers and making custom builds in general that linus inspired me to maybe choose the path of an IT supporter, only cause i find it so interesting. Since i found Linus i would say that my knowledge for computer hardware have increased tenfold which more or less started with linus and the crew! Great channel overall bro, keep up the good work, you are an inspiration for us mortals out there who doesn't know all that much about pc, congrats on the 1 million subs aswell, well deserved.
