  1. Ok, no worries. Hope someone has had similar issue.
  2. I don't have anything else plugged in that could play audio at the moment.
  3. It's old Samsung SyncMaster T27B300. It does have speakers if that's what you are thinking about
  4. Don't have an option for that. PC seems to think there is nothing there aparently.
  5. I had similar problem on my Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2 yesterday. Bios update solved it for me.
  6. Hello everyone. I built new PC yesterday and I have a problem of non working sound on my monitor. If I plug in headphones directly in the motherboard they are working but monitor speakers are not working. I have it connected via HDMI, tried both ports on GPU. Does Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I have the sound driver from MOBO website. It doesn't give me option to choose monitor as my sound output device. In Device manager I can find it if I choose to show also hidden devices. I hope someone can help me.
  7. I have stock 5800X with EK Basic 240 AIO. I hit 82°C after 10 minutes(11 passes) of CB R23. Idle is 35-40°C Also case is NZXT H510 which is less than perfect for airflow. Honestly it seems fine to me. I saw it can be made run cooler with undervolting so I might try that.
  8. You are bang on the money writing that yesterday. I was busy with exams and stuff up to this weekend so it was on hold but yesterday my friend helped me get it together. After some voes, like PC not shutting down, were sorted by latest BIOS I have those CB R23 scores to provide. First one was after 2 single core runs, second one was after 10 minutes(11 runs) of Multi core test. Nothing is changed from stock appart from XMP enabled in BIOS.
  9. It wasn't one purchase but many of them but now I have mostly everything to build my PC, well except time. And GPU, that I will be taking from current one until current gen prices fall.
  10. Definitely worth it. I put SSD in some old 3rd gen i5 Elitebook, much more usable. For brand most of them should be fine, I have good experience with Samsung. I say take what you can get for the best price.
  11. Can't say for any other game but for FH4 I get 60 FPS with old i5 4430. It is stuck at 100% but it does run FH4 at 60fps. So any of the CPUs recommended here will be more than capable enough for it.
  12. 1. I used Macrium reflect to clone hdd to new ssd. https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree Worked well and it works going from bigger HDD to smaller SSD (if less than SSD capacity is used on HDD, obviously). 2. If you clone it then no, you won't have to do that. 3 and 4 I haven't done so I have no idea.
  13. Well that was interesting topic indeed. I just noticed the other day that (almost) all 3080s and 3060ti's were removed from store. Was wandering what is up with that. I will assume people were so desperate and were buying them even at those outlandish prices meanwhile computeruniverse didn't even have stock allocated. Don't know for sure though. But yeah, I wouldn't call that fraud. But it is a shoddy practice to say the least. But honestly, going with this to court will get you nowhere. If you didn't have their promise at the time of purchase ("expected shipping in 7-14 days" isn't one) how quick you would get it you can't do much. And let's be honest, if you really needed it for work as you are saying it you would have bought that EVGA card for 500€ more. If it is urgent for business this is nothing. Only card that seems to be in OK stock is 3070, for inflated price though unfortunately.
  14. Nah, I can't be like that to my parents. They are getting the best they can. Don't really care how much I get from sell since I doubt difference will be much more than 50€ anyway. So question is, which processor is better then?
  15. So I'm torn at the moment. I'm building myself new system. So I now have PC that I don't need. So obvious thing would be to sell it which is my plan. But I also have another PC, or parents have it for that matter. My current RIG that I'm replacing will be 8 years old and it is this Missing on the invoice is 8 GB of DDR3-1600, CL9 RAM. I also have in here Seasonic S12-II 550W instead of that cheap PSU that came with case. Computer that parents have is this thing, turning 10 this year. This one is still in completely original spec bar 250 GB SSD. So which one should I sell? I'm keeping PSU so if I keep 2500K rig I will swap Seasonic into it, so this isn't the case to keep 4430 rig. One thing is that 2500K mobo does not support sata3 but not sure how much difference this does to performance. Only thing that parents use PC for is office and web browsing. So what would you go for? Thanks.
  16. Well final decision was met. I went for EK AIO Basic 240. https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-aio-basic-240 Got a bit of discount on it, seems to be largely on par with Arctic Liquid Freezer II (Only available Arctic is 240) and this was cheaper for me( shipping and all the stuff). Plus warranty is longer on this one and I can go and throw it at EK if it brakes down since they are local to me (probably also the reason why shipping was so much cheaper ). I also like the look and let's say I feel good for buying something local. So at @Chrismike, I will report back to how thermals look. If you have any benchmarks feel free to recommend them here. It will take a bit of time though, waiting for CPU and RAM and this is also saying it is coming only at 15th February. Seems like they don't have much stock, 40 km shouldn't take too long to travel
  17. So basically the only thing all of you guys agree on in the fact I f.ed up buying that case I was reading/watching more videos those 2 days about how cooling in this case works since it really is "interesting". So to sum up: AIR cooler: + reliability + cooler GPU - worse CPU cooling performance (Can't fit Dark Rock Pro 4 with Vengance RGB in that case) - worse looks (subjective) AIO: + Better CPU temps + Looks better - Hotter GPU temps - potential reliability problems So I basically have to check now how hot do RTX 3070s get
  18. Wanted type-C. Meshify C also out of stock or more expensive. Case is coming tomorrow so can't do much about that. I'm sticking with it, if it ends up being too bad I will change it later.
  19. I'm getting that case, not much else I like is available. Was thinking about Meshify S2 but it is double the price. It will have to do. It is normal Dark Rock not Pro so Tier 5 I think. But I get where you are coming from. So generally AIR is better than budget AIO? I do like the look of AIO but really don't want to deal with loads of problems.
  20. What would be better idea to go for, Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 on the side of air coolers or Cooler Master ML240R RGB on AIO side? It will be cooling 5800X. From Tier list ML240 is better but is it really? Also how is reliability of this CM stuff? Pride delta is 10€. Case will be NZXT H510 if that makes any difference.
  21. Not sure if I can ask here but going from Tier List I can expect lower temperatures on my 5800X if I go with CM ML240R RGB than if go with BQ Dark Rock 4, right? Since price delta is 10€ I wouldn't really want to save them to get lower performance. Case will be NZXT H510 if that makes any difference. ( Bad airflow I know, we will see if I made mistake).
  22. Ok got it. For AIO I have chance to get CM ML 240 RGB for 10€ more than Dark Rock 4 (non Pro). Looks wise I would prefer AIO and I don't care about 10€ more. If I can get better cooling I would go with AIO.
