No, it depends what settings you want to play at. If you gave me the choice I would go for the 4gb version. I would recommend that over the 2gb version for future proofing.

No, but I could if I wanted to. As long as your not going for ultra settings+uber graphics mods, you should be fine.

Are you sure you plugged it into the gpu and not the motherboard? -
If you stress out your cpu too much, it could shorten the lifespan of the cpu, but not the gpu.

I've heard of bluescreens proems when changing motherboards, if he's really unlucky. -
If it's not broke don't fix it Jk I'd say go for 4k because I've heard that dsr only makes minor differences to details.

Get the ones label "Chipset" and you should be good. For the GPU drivers, you should be able to go to amd's website and look it up.
