I have noticed lots of newer ASUS motherboards are leaving off the ROG_EXT headers nowadays. Is the ROG Front Base and OC Panel kissing support in future builds? I only asking because it will influence my case choices a lot. If no support why should I buy a case with 5.25” bays. Thanks in Advance: Alice*

I woke up this morning and was wondering if x399 and cross fire Vega 64 or x299 and single 180ti is a better setup with what I’m planning with 4K production, streaming while gaming is a better platform. I know x299 has less pcie lanes so I’d go one high end card and capture playback cards. With x399 having more pcie lanes id add cross fire in the mix. thanks in advance,

Yes I plan to do monthly backups. Id store creation content and content sources in mass storage drives. I’m thinking about a second nvme drive for holding content tempRrly as it is being worked on.

Forgot to mention with my image working I’m doing 3D skinning for avatars . I can do in paintshop pro with user created plug ins but think adobe has it built in vut isn’t adobe pay per month software nowadays?

Thanks. I’ll give software a try but thinking Corel is better bang for the buck since they almost identical features. Just wasn’t sure if adobe supposed more formats that made it worth the extra costs. Thanks so much

I want to render and edit 4K videos and edit high quality photos. I have always used Corel’s VideoStudio & PaintShop Pro ultimate edition softwares. But with higher quality 4K Blackmagic capture and playback cards. Would I be better using Adobe software for more professional projects???

That’s very true and leaves SATA ports for future mass storage upgrades too. Creating 4K content will definitely eat up space. I do wonder if something like a drobo 8 drive solution be a better option?

I run my games in ultra settings. want to run crossfire or sli nvme boot, ssd steam/games, and mass storage for projects drives id like to run aura compatible parts just for eye candy i also plan to run separate capture and playback 4K cards by Blackmagic thanks in advance.
