  1. I assume you are using Windows 10. Did your Windows just update to the Spring Update? If so, you might have to go into Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone and toggle on the "Give apps access to the microphone" or something.. Mine is in Norwegian, so I'm not 100% sure what it says in English
  2. I found out the problem.. had to go into Privacy settings, and allow Apps to use microphone from there, why this ain't enabled from the beginning, is beyond me. Been banging my head for like 2 hours
  3. Hello.. My computer had installed the 1803 update while I was sleeping. And now that it's installed. I can't use microphone. I have Sennheiser PC 363D, and the audio works on it, but not the microphone. I've tried onboard soundcard too, and that didn't work either, and I tried a fully USB headset, and that didn't work either.. What could be causing this?
  4. Guess I'll have to look further into the EVGA Hybrid, or maybe even just get the EK Fluid Gaming A240G set from EKWB. it's not that more expensive than the hybrid, and that's for CPU and GPU. Will have to save up for a few months, but shouldn't be any problems with doing that cheers for answer about the aftermarket aircoolers not fitting the FE
  5. Hello. I was wondering, is it possible to install any aftermarket branded aircooler on an 1080 FE card? Like, if I were to find someone that has watercooled their 1080, and taken their aircooler of.. any brand really. Could I use that cooler on the FE, or would there be incapability issues doing this? I know of the EVGA Hybrid cooler, but it's too pricey for shipping to Norway, and I prefer aircooling stuff in my computer. And if the question is. why didn't I get a aftermarket 1080 in the first place? Cause I didn't pay anything for this FE card. I traded some parts for it.
  6. Hello. I just reinstalled Windows 10, just for the heck of it, and to just clean up stuff.. But before I deleted it, I took a "screenshot" of my documents folder. How can I avoid this mess in the future? can't I get like all the game config folders into 1 gaming folder, instead of them all filling up the documents folder?
  7. You can also hold down the SHIFT button when pressing restart computer from the start menu. This should bring up a page where you can select Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options -> Boot into UEFI (or something)
  8. It would be swift and calculated. But if you were to feed false information, it could be fatale. having the ability to doubt and secondguess the information given is the key.
  9. Even tho the idea behind the .bit being a Decentralized Alt-Net might be a good idea, it would still have to rely on the current infrastruct to operate, so all the other companies/parties will still be able to exclude or hammer down the sites being made.
  10. He has an itx motherboard, so unless he's willing to sacrifice his dedicated graphic card, that wouldn't be possible. depending what you'll use the m.2 on. You'll see little improvement over normal ssd imo.
  11. Hello I just got an used ReadyNAS Ultra 4 that I bought from a random guy of an Norwegian "craigslist" and I noticed it was lacking a HDD Tray. And the seller has no idea where it is, he managed to lose it somewhere. And I seem to have difficulties finding "new" ones on the web, unless I'm just terrible to search. Either way. Anyone have suggestions on how I can "mount" the last drive? Are there other trays that fits? I tried from an HP Proliant Microserver, and those didn't fit.
  12. I'm most likely gonna swap out my AMD R9 290 GPU with something new. Just kinda on the fence on what to get. Currently hovering around getting a 1070
  13. There is a guy selling old Dell PowerEdge SC1425 for like 60 USD per server. Nowhere as impressive specs tho. But the cheaper the better I suppose. And I assume much less power consumption Few HDD bays on it tho 2 x Xeon 3.2 GHz Dual Core (800Mhz BUS) 2MB L2-CACHE. (4 CPU) 2 GB DDR2 (400 MHz BUS) Ram can always be expanded, so I don't really see this as a problem. 80 GB Sata Disk. But I'll keep looking at stuff.. I'm in no rush Just like to browse abit. Thanks for the replies tho
  14. Hello everyone For quite some time I've been become more and more interested in getting an used rackserver, just cause of curiosity really. So I was browsing a Norwegian "craigslist" if you will, and I found this one. HP DL380 G5 2x Xeon E5420 Quad Core 2.5Ghz 32 GB Ram. 2x Fibre Channel Card/Adapter 1x dual 1gbit NIC 2x integrerte 1gbit NIC 2x 1000w Power Supply P400 Raid Controller m/256mb cache og battery (Battery status unknown) Price: about 170 USD Apperantly 1 of the PSU is giving out errors from time to time. And no HDDs, but that's kinda to be expected I suppose. Is this a good deal? Is it something you'd buy? Or is it pretty much worthless/useless? If I were to actually use it for something, it would mainly just to try stuff out, as I have no idea how to operate servers or anything. It would probably be too power hungry to be used as NAS and all that malarky.. And I assume it's loud. I'm not saying I'll end up buying, but I like to browse around (window shopping), but thought I'd ask, just to get an general feel about what people think might still be useful or not
