  1. Hey, Nice going there LMG, glad to see a quality youtube channel make it past that mark . I found LinusTechTips back when I was going on to update the RAM in my home computer. I watched one of Austin's build guides, which wasn't really detailed enough for me to follow along (IKR? Ram upgrade - difficult ) That's when I accidentally stumbled upon your ultimate 2500$ gaming PC video. Even though I never had a gaming PC, there was something about it that gave me a "nerdgasm", and thus began the binge of a lifetime. Since then I like to watch all your videos, even though I'm not even in the market for PC hardware. I'm a really big fan of the WAN show, (and Slick!). Happy for you guys.
  2. You got me cracking on PSN, but when you discover something as cool as that, I guess celebrities are the best way to make noise about it. I just saw the WAN show which had Linus talking about how Apple lost 28 billion in company value, and I did get the part where it was not that much of a big deal. But I think the big deal is the fact that they are suffering on their ever "hotshots" image at all, especially with the launch event coming up. So those targets were essential to actually make noise like this. And the internet's favorite JLaw only added to that noise.
  3. Just because the hacker didn't release the names of other less famous people, because honestly, who cares?, how can you make an assumption that they didn't hack the accounts of some other, lesser known people as well? If they indeed did it through code, which I strongly believe they did, as you can't social engineer a 100 accounts, they probably tested the hack first on some other innocent people as well, who knows? Certainly not Apple, if they knew about the bug it wouldn't be there to begin with. That enough for you, fanboy?
  4. Counter Strike 1.6 and maybe RECOIL, does anybody else remember that game? It was so good man.
  5. Just install classic shell, change all default programs to something you used earlier and diable charms from popping up from the upper corners(classic shell takes care of lower left). Then install launchy, the best program ever. All this would probably take you 1-2 hours and windows 8.1 would work like a "charm" SWIDT? Then peacefully wait for Windows 9 to come out.
  6. Not to mention a brute force attack would involve permutations of strings at lest 8 characters long, it would be anywhere from a few thousand to a few billion hits checking every one of those. How the hell did the servers not flag that kind of activity?
  7. When you say the top right Menu crashes, that can't happen, that would mean explorer has crashed. Do you not see the taskbar too? If the explorer is crashing it is not necessarily a virus, there could be a dozen different reasons for that.
  8. Very targeted? Are they joking? It's the most random collection of actresses, not to mention how would they know who to target in particular for nudes? **typing this with 1 hand, please forgive the typos.*** EDIT: Have you seen the ones of the girl who was in die hard(Mary Winston I think), What would you get by targeting her?. those aren't even good.
  9. Must say the rant that followed, completely took the focus off the real topic of the video : dat rwaap!! P.S. why do all these videos end with slick getting hurt in the balls and lying on the ground>>
  10. I'm really nostalgic about the original counter-strike (1.6 since I can't find the ones before that), so for me that's the first game I would put on any computer, enjoy 6ish hours of play with expert bots, and then take it from there. But that's just me.
  11. There should really be a Luke-obsessed section on the forum for all these guys who noticed the sunburn more than the product that's the center of attraction of this video. It can be called no-homo or something, because that's really what all these comments end in.
  12. Even though you asked the OP, I'll answer this since I do use it, it's really handy in the fact that most things just work, out of the box, plus it comes with two really awesome desktop environment choices in cinnamon and MATE(I use MATE version personally). Plus you get a lot of third party software bundled in the release, all this combined with the ease of downloading packages from Ubuntu's archives , make it a great choice.
  13. Well the main reason I want this is my friend has a Z1, and I think the finish on this phone is like none other, good looks, usability and being durable as *ck are the reasons I want this phone, plus this is like the most awesome LTT swag one can get. The hardware helps in the fact that it keeps the phone highly responsive, although the hardware loses its charm since I only play android games on the toilet
