  1. Except not nearly as good, we had to make complete game from nothing in a few months and we're all students. (Also we've now seen a few tetris platforming games but at the time none of use had ever played/really seen any)
  2. Me and a few of my friends have been making game for the *Redacted* Software design competition and this year we were supposed to make a tetris-esqe game. The game is made in C# and the deadish XNA framework, we didn't used Monogame for the comp. as it's still buggy and we didn't want to lose points for something outside of our control. Everything in the game programming wise, including StarByte, sounds, and sprites were all made by us. At this point we've pretty much finished it up with only a few UI, HUD, and sound improvements (Also rebindable keys still need to be enabled... Almost forgot). So I was wondering if some of you want to try it out and help point out any bugs here and there, since we've gone blind to a lot of it after playing so much. EDIT: Looks like it doesn't run on the preview of Windows 10 so be for warned, also the game will only work on Windows machines currently until we port over to MonoGame, after we should gain Linux & Mac support, sorry for any incovience as this is still under active development. Here are a few screenshots: Main Menu Tutorial Level Level 3 There is a basic custom level system in the game that requires you to make a simple .dat file, so if you'd like you can make your own levels and even share them with us in the thread! 3. Really no one has a finger cut off unless you have some crazy industrial fan that run at a billion RPM's with sharp steel blades..
  4. Not really, I've had LoliPop on my Nexus 5 since it was still Android L, which happens to be my daily driver, and I haven't really ran into any real bugs in quite a long time, let alone enough to call it "a buggy bitch"...
  5. Like most computer parts people make sure that they are way more careful than they need to be so that if they slip up they're still good. Motherboards and most parts are actually pretty hardy and take a lot of abuse so that they don't break all the time. Like others had said, as long as you're not setting out to destory it you'll probably be alright.
  6. Still rocking my old AMD 6870 right now since I never have the money to upgrade or when I do something more important comes up... The woes of life... (Wish I was rich or was still some cute little punk with rich parents)
  7. I use alot of diffrent IDE's for programming since it seems like everywhere I'm at uses a diffrent one.. Overall my favorite Java IDE is by far InteliJ (which Android Studio is built on top off), as it's a nice really full feature but modern and slick IDE that's all eye candy. I still do use Eclipse though for Java development for robot code for FRC and honestly I do quite like it even if it is clunky at the best of times, I still like Egit's integration better than most git plugins for other IDE's too. Visual Studio is still very near and dear to my heart as well since I really only use it for C# development and with the 2013 Ultimate it's so awesome even over what I used to think was so great, 2010 Ultimate.. *For small scale stuff & most simple web site data, obviously not the Java web apps, I just use Notepad++ and if I need compliling I just use the command line. Overall after all that rambling, *looks at title.., I don't really think Eclipse is a terrible IDE, I mean yea it is a little troublesome at times, but I've dealt with far worse IDE issues from others than I really ever have had with Eclipse; Although, making small projects in Eclipse usually is a pain. (I'm an applications programmer & student at the moment FYI)
  8. Yay, Requiem for the Phantom! I really did enjoy that anime as well as the visual novel which is very possibly the worst formatted game of all time as it was set up as like an old DVD game.. Humanity has declined looks really good though, *Looks at who suggested it, oh @Vitalius was the one who suggested it so no wonder why...
  9. You guys might be able to get a kick out of MrSolidSnakes new video.
  10. Lets see what type of towers you need to climb in order to reveal the next "open-world" area you can enter.
  11. whoop whoop! I have 1024 posts; I should just stop posting now.

  12. Seems so, I tried to answer every question wrong and got 74. (Still seems slightly high for getting them all wrong..)
  13. Hey, that's obviously a long a difficult name to remember. I mean who would seriously come up with that from an anime about ping pong?
  14. Well I mean that stupid sounding ping pong anime with the crazy art style that's name escapes me was actually a pretty good watch, so you can't always judge a show by it's topic.
  15. Welp I took that IQ score, not sure how accurate it is though... Yea, looks like everyone got even higher scores so this seems like one of those thing where it gives you a high number no matter what..
  16. Both are good watches! I personally like Toradora better out of the two, but that might just be because I have a soft spot for good rom-com's. Happy watching! Also, must include... [fixed image]
  17. Might be a little late, but relevant...
  18. Definetly didn't change my profile picture...

  19. So good, after spending what seems like months to play all the routes (time constraints, the actual length, and goodness all helped that) I finally finished The Fruit of Grisaia and it was amazing. Really glad I finally finished it, not to mention that there's more games.. (Also I might have changed my profile picture.. maybe..)
  20. DO NOT PREORDER ANY GAME EVER.... It's 1000x better to wait untill it comes out and see if it's good or not and then buy it than it is to buy it now and have a shitty game in your library.
  21. Well if comcast's best product is customer service then god *$@#ing help all the rest of their products...
  22. Personally I like the anime because it's got a pretty solid story to it for a mech anime, and when shit hits the fan people actually die as opposed to most shows where they're scared of commitment. *cough Aldnoah.Zero I think it's kind of strange that it gets hate just for the art style; I mean yea it's quite different from most animation styles, but it doesn't automatically make it horrible and lazy... I really think it's worth a watch.
