  1. Pulled the card out, no dual bios. https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rx570-o4g-gaming-model/ Unfortunately not sure what to do.
  2. Didn't notice it had Dual Bios, I'll double check right now. Honestly its a POS, literally got it just cause I needed a video out for my AMD CPU, but with graphics card prices the way they are I'm gonna stick with it for a bit
  3. It's the Asus ROG 4GB. It is stock, no OC, I've got experience with overclocking and through MSI afterburner as well as AMD Radeon Software it is set to stock. This was an ex mining card I assume
  4. Hey guys, I've built my gaming PC last year and just needed a cheap card until the RTX3000 series launched, unfortunately I have not been able to get my hands on one so I got a second hand RX570 in the meantime to just get by until then. However, some games work perfectly fine (Outer Worlds, WoW, MotoGP, Sims 4, Killing floor 2, Bioshock Infinite, Apex Legends) , some crash instantly (BF5), some load and crash a few mins later (Witcher 3) and some do this odd screen effect (Shadow of War, Anno 1800) Can anyone tell me what is going on with this card? I've recorded a clip of Shadow of War so you can see what is happening. I am not sure if it's software or hardware. https://youtu.be/QhvkmOM4_PA Please if you have any info let me know. The rest of the PC is new and high end, if you would like other specs let me know.
  5. It's the wild west here with prices, some things are high, some are low.
  6. Budget (including currency): Any Country: Vietnam Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Battlefield, AC, SOTTR, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk.... (No workstation/editing/streaming) Other details Currently using 1080p/144Hz but will be upgrading next month to 1440p/144Hz. (Currently have a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16Gb ram, MSI B550 A Pro) Hey guys, so with the GPU's out now I'm looking to choose, however the prices are a bit crazy over here in Vietnam. I'm not too worried about price (That being said, I'm looking at the 3080, 6800XT and maybe the 6800) to be honest but I'm wondering if these changes in price warrant any choice over the other. Availability in Vietnam is fine, I have access to all the cards here. Nvidia RTX 3080 - Actual Price in Vietnam - 20,999,000VND/908USD - US Price - 700USD/16,223,900 VND - Difference in Price 4,775,100/206USD AMD RX 6800 XT - Actual Price in Vietnam -18,999,000VND/822USD - US Price - 650USD/15,065,050 VND - Difference in Price 3,934,000/170USD Nvidia RTX 3070 - Actual Price in Vietnam -16,100,000VND/696USD - US Price - 500USD/11,588,500 VND - Difference in Price 4,511,500/195USD AMD RX 6800 - Actual Price in Vietnam -17,000,000VND/735USD - US Price - 580USD/13,442,660 VND - Difference in Price 3,557,340/153USD In this case do things sway in favor of Nvidia or AMD here? As I said, if anyone could enlighten me on which would be the best to get taking into consideration these different prices.
  7. So this company is massive in Vietnam. They are a subgroup of VinGroup who owns the largest building in Vietnam, they make VinFast Cars, they were the big sponsor for the F1 here and they have so many other companies in their group. That being said there are other websites with mock versions of this phone and they do still have the camera... There are apparently 3 versions too. https://www.thegioididong.com/tin-tuc/tren-tay-vsmart-aris-5g-1268269
  8. Alright thanks man, The only thing is I realistically will only be building and buying in April/May due to the payment cycle of my company (End of March, however the corona virus is impacting our work so if my company stays closed any longer this build might have to be pushed back due to a lack of income) so thats why I was saying I might wait since I currently have the laptop. Any real time period given on the new GPUs? June, July, August? Cause if its around June I might wait I do plan on overclocking as I like to tinker with my stuff, so you rate the 3600 is good to go?
  9. Hey Guys, I've currently got a Acer Predator Helios 300 Laptop (needed a laptop for work at the time) but I'm looking at building a new PC since I'm tired of laptops. I've also been out of the loop for a while with PC components due to work so I'll need your advice. 1. Budget & Location. I'm currently located in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) so prices are pretty different (2080 Super in USA is 720USD and here for the same card its 947USD) to what's available elsewhere. The sites we use here are Phongvu.vn and Gearvn.com. That being said, I don't really have a set budget ($1000-$1500) 2. Aim Mostly gaming to be honest, FPS shooters like Battlefield and things like Witcher, Civ, Assassins creed, that kind of thing. Also some browsing. 3. Monitors I already have the AOC C27G2 (144HZ Gsync 1080p). Will be upgrading to the 2K version of this monitor so will end up having 2-3 monitors (But will only play games on 1 of them, ideally the 144HZ 1440p version) 4. Peripherals I already have everything I need. **CPU** | [AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor] **CPU Cooler** | [Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler] **Motherboard** | [MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard] **Memory** | [G.Skill Trident Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory] **Video Card** | [Asus GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB STRIX GAMING Advanced Video Card] **Power Supply** | [Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply] The above is just a rough guide of what I've looked at, availability is obviously very different to some other countries. This is not exact and not set in stone in any way. I have an M.2 SSD and I don't mind the case, thats not an issue, I will have to get a high flow since the temperatures here are crazy hot all day all the time throughout the year. I am looking at building this PC at the end of March, however, I have heard and read about new NVIDIA GPUS, new Ryzen CPUs, and a whole bunch of other things coming for this year. Do you guys think this is a good general build? any major issues here? Do you think I should rather wait for the newer gear to launch? I am in no real rush to be honest, I can wait.
  10. I Know its not really news for the WAN show but theres been a terrorist attack in france at the moment, about 100 dead, maybe Linus and Luke can just tell people about it to raise awareness or something.
  11. While I am really annoyed that they are doing this, it was expected. Don't be surprised if they do something like this for need for speed as well. Fortunately enough where I live the no one buys DLC or anything like that because it's too pricey and therefor people don't buy it and all the new buyers see this and don't buy the DLC because there is no value to it. Like BF4 for example, all the really great hosted servers here only have the vanilla game and I don't see it being different with this, unless they change the server system but still, it's too pricey for most people. At least this is for where I live. But I still hate that they're doing this.
  12. Hey there guys, where I live there is a Computer Expo on today and I am planning on getting an AIO Water Cooler, I have looked at all the reviews for these coolers and they are the only ones that are really available and they are all in the same area of price. The 3 options I have are: Corsair H100i GTX - $118 Cooler Master Nepton 280L -$105 Cooler Master Nepton 240M - $98 So for me I don't know which one to choose because its a marginal difference on the Cooler Master that I am not worried about, the reason I included the Corsair is because its also on sale and for not much more? I currently have an H440 with a i5- 4670K that's at 4.5Ghz. I currently have a Nocuta NH-U12S in my system at the moment but I am giving it to a friend who needs it. So could anyone possibly rank these 3 coolers for me and suggest which one would be better? Thanks in advance.
  13. Yeah I know but if they screw me around and dont help then ill just bite the bullet and see if thermal paste replacement works, if it does then cool and then I might watercool, if not it may be a dud
  14. I was actually thinking about that, apparently some people had issues with the heatsink not being attached properly as well so if all else fails i guess that is my last option, or watercool it which I have been wanting to do
  15. Yeah look I'm taking it to them on Monday but they only have a 1 year warranty on the parts they have they say, doesn't like MSI usually have a international warranty time period? They will obviously try not to but I'll try my best. I've always wondered why I was never getting the same FPS in games as others with the exact same card
