    I went to download the bios and in there they mentioned that I need to update ME firmware before doing the bios. so in that case the order would be Windows Update ME Update BIOS Update chipset drivers GPU drivers Everything else Correct?

    Thanks for the info @filpo and @DoctorNick. Follow up question, is there an order on how I should go through installing and updating stuff? Example: Install OS, install intel ME, Update drivers, Update Bios, Install other stuff?

    Hi Guys, I am build a new system and just ordered the Strix z790-E motherboard and had couple of questions, it would help me a lot if you could point me in the right direction I have a gen 4 m.2 drive, which slot should I install it in? m2._2 so that I don't reduce the PCIE lane speed? Do I need to register the motherboard on ASUS website in order to get support in the future? I see that the mobo has 3.2 USB internal headers, I have a O11 XL which has front panel connectors for 3.1, will they work? Can I change the internal headers from USB 3 to USB 2 in order to support Lian li UniFan controller? How can I under volt the CPI in the bios? How can I update the Bios to the most recent? I read somewhere that you need to install intel ME before updating the BIOS, what is Intel ME, do i need it all the time or just when updating the BIOS? I have GSkillz RGB Ram, can I use Asus Aura sync? do I need additional software to be installed in order for Aura to detect the RMA? Any other things that you think I need to be aware of ?

    Yep, spoke to another forum user who uses the Galahad with positive outlook. So will go ahead and get the Galahad.

    Okay I will check if the EK AIO is available in my region. I was leaning towards Lian li because I have UniFans and it comes with a controller and also the software, so was hoping i could run everything in one software suite instead of having multiple different softwares.

    Thanks @tkitch, do you know if the new UnfiFan edition galahads are more reliable then the previous revisions? What about the iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT Liquid CPU Cooler? better than the Lian Li?

    Hi, I need some help deciding which AIO to get for to cool the 13900K, I was initially planning on getting the Lian Li Galahad 360 with UniFan since I have Lian Fans and will have their software running anyways, but I am a little concerned if this AIO can keep the CPU cool, there are mixed reviews for the Galahad having trouble cooling the 12900k, thoughts, suggestions?

    Why are people on tom's hardware saying that the gpu is a mobile gpu and does not output more than 60hz even though it has mini displayport?

    Hello, I am going to buy a laptop next week, which is the acer predator helios 300 with 1660 ti and i7 9th gen, i already bought an benq xl2546 monitor, now someone tells me the laptop can not run the monitor at 240hz is this true? i thought since the laptop has mini displayport, So shouldn't it support the monitor? if this laptop doesn't support it can someone suggest me a alternate laptop with similar spec? (can't get a desktop, so stuck with a laptop) here is the Link to the laptop in my local online store

    Hi, I am planning to get the Corsair 1000D and build a dual system in it. I was planning on getting the Corsair AX1600i PSU for the main system and use my old HX 750 for the mini itx build. But i am unable to figure out if there is enough space for the HX 750 PSU? Also is there any way to run both system off of one PSU?

    @PopsicleHustler i will buy building a streaming pc based on the new Ryzen 9 CPU's that will be a itx build that will sit along side the intel build inside a corsair 1000D

    Hello Everyone, My old x58 i7 930 computer has finally bit the dust after a very long journey together; which has now brought me a void in my life. I want to build a new system that will last me the same amount of time my old rig has and i wanted some input. I was planning to build on the x299 platform using MSI x299 creation and i9 9820x cpu along with 128GB of ram paired with the new rumored RTX 20x0Ti super gfx card. However i have been seeing a lot of negative reviews with the current platform from intel (link, link). I wanted to know what i should do? do i wait until the next gen comes out? if yes what is the next gen and when can we expect it? P.S: i am aware of AMD and i will be building a AMD rig as a streaming pc as a itx build. the intel build will be for my main rig for gaming + lot of other stuff i do like coding, hosting, 3D work etc.....

    congratulations linus you deserved it. you were the who taught me a lot about computers and high end gaming stuff. after watching all of your videos i was able to understand things like overclocking etc etc.. and was finally able to build my dream computer rig. you have truly been and inspiration to me and i will start making my own tech related videos because thats what i enjoy watching and wish to do so. pics of my rig which i build after watching your video's and your suggestions.     Hello linustechtips, Yes i created an account just to get into this give away & yes i am being as honest as possible i am a selfless greedy bastard!!! I have a Samsung galaxy note 2 which serves my every need expect one (which i will tell later)! So you might wonder why I need to win this phone. Well i really like new tech & i f**king can’t afford to buy one currently. The most epic thing about this phone is its size!! Yes I like big things (no pun) i really like the big screen and the big form factor! I have really big hands and although the note 2 is a big phone as most would say, it’s really fucking tiny in my hands!! I want a phone with a big screen and the Sony z2 is the prefect one! Favorite thing about dbrand? Well I have no clue what dbrand was until this review, but what I liked the most about them is their work looks like stock! What I mean by it is I didn’t realize it was a skin on the phone and I thought Sony made a custom phone for linustechtips. So my favorite thing about dbrand is their quality of their product they make. so there you have it, commented in this thread honestly & waiting for the announcement
