  1. As I already said, it could fail ofcourse.
  2. Try connecting it to a different computer. If it doesn't work, than it's probably corrupt or physically damaged, so consider buying a new one if you need it.
  3. Especially if you are using your MOBO-s HDMI, the "problem" could be in your BIOS setup. Try entering the BIOS and search for something like "Audio outputs" or something like that, as I'm not exactly sure what it says. Anyways, there should be some options for audio/sound side of things. Something like which inputs the PC should get audio from "HDMI + Front", "Front + AUX", "HDMI + Front + AUX", I'm not 100% sure what it says, so yeah. Just try going into BIOS and checking those things out.
  4. It's either your MOBO-s connector or the drivers are not good. If you checked your cables and outputs, than you're probably have to RMA the MOBO. Just don't hurry, go slow, try some other outputs, modes, monitors... If nothing works, try RMA... No real help, just some advice, sorry.
  5. What about other fans and components? Can you somehow indicate that they're working?
  6. Are you sure everything is connected properly?
  7. If you can choose, go with the 2x GTX980-s. As they run cooler, quieter, consume less power & you get a bit more FPS in action
  8. Ofcourse it could fail. Ofcourse it would be a good option, but it's just a tight budget and as I said, he can get better components in the future
  9. I know, but it's just for the sake of cost reduction.
  10. Here are the specs for 1000$ budget. MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P CPU: AMD FX-8350 (replace the stock cooler) -Raijintek Themis 120mm GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X Asus OC RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator CL9 DDR3 2x4GB 1866MHz (CL9 for use of all the bandwidth, also, you could/should add more in the future) HDD (SSD optional): Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB 64MB OPTICAL DRIVE (optional): Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE PSU: Cooler Master G750M 750W (it's a bit more than what you need, but it's cool ) CASE: Aerocool GT Black Edition There it is, if you think of a better build (ofc. you will, this is just my opinion), be free to add Good luck!
  11. Pffff, I think it's awesome, at least for me. It simply calms me down and I forget about some problems, as I focus on what's in front of me. I just love it!
  12. I used to do some work for my neighbours, find some "job" that you can do if you're not 18, do something for your family, if it's a lot of work, ask for a "prize"
  13. You should get the desktop PC, even if you are not travelling often as you said. It's simply better and it costs less.
  14. As Manny Calavera said, it's no good at 60 FPS for 4K, but for 1080p gaming (dual), it's awesome. Unless you turn down the settings in your games. Especially, in 2 years ahead, a lot of games will get more demanding, so it's not that good.
