If that is what he want then what's the point in a budget?
This may come across harsh, but tell your friend to stop being a cock and think. Why does he want an i7? Bragging rights?!!
He could have much better performance by prioritizing money into something else, such as a GPU.
Using an i7 vs an i5 wouldn't help for FPS either. And when he sells the 970 it won't be worth a lot because people will want to buy the 1070's when they go down in price and the cheap 480's.
Get an i5 and then a better GPU.
Something like a i5 6600? Then if you can, squeeze a 1070 in there. If not, then no problem and maybe look at the RX 480/1060.
If he insists on getting an i7, try and convince him otherwise.
Yes mate, it will scan your system for problems and fix them if there is any.
You from UK? Only cause i've only seen people from UK use "nah" and "bloody".
Hahahahahhaha I am laughing so much.
Hahahahahaahhaahah
The best thing will be an OS re-install. But if you don't want to you can try the
sfc /scannow
command in CMD.
I've been working on PC's for years and have never damaged anything.
lol jk
I am just as paranoid...
Coffee filter is fine, just make sure you ground your self before you start working (with the coffee filter in your hand if you are concerned)
A tool kit is not needed???!
I have got by with:
2 Torx (6 and 8 I think they are?!!)
2 Philips (one large and one small - desktop/laptop)
2 Flathead (one large and on small - desktop/laptop)
And then anything else such as thermal paste is kept in a draw (or bag if you are traveling)
I probably only use one Torx and small Philips. The rest are in extreme circumstances.
Yep, it will work. Looks like a good choice (not sure about the prices because I don't know your currency well )
You can use any processor or motherboard with pfSense as long as it is either x86 or x64 based. (Basically any standard processor)
The only thing to watch out for is if your motherboard/processor can give a display output. In your case, it does.
Hmmm, should not be too bad.
Like I said, make sure nothing is thermal throttling. That what it sounds like if there is random stutters/lag. Check the CPU and GPU for it.
What is he having performance issues on?
It could just be that his system is sh*t.
It could be the PSU, it could be the CPU. If the PSU is a cheap nasty brand then I would replace that ASAP.
And get back to use when you have the temps so we know it is not thermal throttling
I don't know because I don't know the site
Have a look at CheatEngine. Learn how to find simple changing values. That is where I would start, but I doubt that would even work.
What is the site? - Just curious...
If it is developed well, it is most likely server side and editing the timer on your side (the client) would not do anything due to the server holding the correct time.
I agree, but take this for example:
A new person looks at the post briefly
He sees the first post (which is incorrect)
He thinks that information is correct - which is bad
Having something like Superuser/Stackoverflow kind of thing would be good (see pic below)
The bad/incorrect posts go down, and the good relevant ones go up.
Then there is a "sort" button to sort by post date and not by like/dislike.
I made a post about this when the big update came out.
I got a shit storm of salty people arguing why we shouldn't have one.
Overall, it came down to bullying or something. Basically people can't take shit in 2016 and we can have no dislike button because of peoples feelings.
I am pretty sure it is the other way around with you guys...
Everyone says how our government are crap when most people here have not even researched it. Especially regarding Brexit...
Okay, yeah... we have our retards but so does everywhere else?!
I wish people would actually research independently from correct sources instead of quoting shite from the news etc.
Ah right. I get you completely, I am like it with Windows machines.
However with pfSense, mine is only using 7% of 4GB at idle. And barley any at load.
