  1. Okay, will do. Why do you not recommend getting a chromebook?

  3. Hi, I have a problem, I hope you can help me. I bought a secondhand HP Chromebook 11 G3 J4U53EA, for 200 euros. I turned it on, logged into my google account and checked it out, since it is my first chromebook. I noticed that when I try to make a search in the URL bar, I got redirected to MBUSCA.NET. Looked it up and it turns out to be a rootkit enabler and advertising tool of some sort. I tried to Powerwash (Reset Chrome OS to default), but it remains the same. Normally I'd know how to handle this, but I can't simply install programs on a chromebook. I need help with this, does anyone know what to do?
  4. Hi there, I bought this screen for someone else and the quality and beauty surprised us both. Very smooth screen: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/362311/dell-ultrasharp-u2414h-(860-bbcw)-zilver-zwart.html
  5. I believe Gigabyte(correct me if I'm wrong) includes USB hubs with their more expensive Motherboards that fit into optical drive slots. You can look for one of those sold seperately or secondhand.
  6. Interesting, I did not know this.
  7. I just sold my Fx-8350, my Asus Sabertooth and 8gb's of ram for 270 euro, and bought this PC (3770k included) for 450 euro's. Good deal right?!! Edit: Nah I'm not expecting that.. I jumped the shark on the screen though. I experience a big bottleneck with my 8350 and it's unable to overclock. This one I can overclock (hopefully)
  8. Thanks for your answers! I'm selling my 8350 + Asus Sabertooth 990FX Rev2.0 so I can game decently. an intel i7-3770k is also hard to find..
  9. The title says it all. Is there anyone who can give me a lead because I have no idea what to look for!
  10. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1100444756641647 Words can't describe how I feel about this. It just feels like a very bad joke to me. For me it was basically clickbait. I expected a few nice (modding) tips to increase things like airflow, that sort of thing: Ghetto done well, you know? Instead it's just a cleverly put together commercial and the title is: 'How to spend money pls watch'. How do you feel about this?
  11. Mining small new altcoins is something you can try. Hope that the coin you mine 10000 of doubles it value after a week or so.
  12. 290x because proper 4gb's of vram and better bang for your buck. Noise and heat is barely an issue these days.
  13. Interesting.. Yeah.. in hindsight I would not have gone for the Corsair either. I did not really do research yet back then, very impulsive buying, haha.
  14. I agree with Aniallation on this matter. I'd like to add this has little to do with wattage. Low-budget PSU's tend to be fragile and in some cases fry other components. It is after all the unit that transfers and directs electrical current into your other parts, not a component to save money on! Corsair is definately the most popular choice I've seen around. In my opinion it's not the best (Read a lot of reviews about the CX series breaking down after short use, and making lots of noise). Though I have no direct experience with these PSU's. My AX1200i is working perfectly. I recommend a Seasonic, or a Be Quiet PSU. Both of these brands made a very professional impression on me. The PSU's are well packaged, it comes with tons of accesoires and even the packaging looks good.
  15. Wow you seem to have the ability to turn a valid argument and a positive remark into ridicule towards AMD. Nvidia usually is the neighbour who puts up a big fence, crossing half of the other neighbour's yard. Through your weird fanbot language you are able to not only make Nvidia neutral in this matter, but shame AMD for being more open-oriented. Yes, I meant to say fanbot
  16. By the way, why don't you start playing the Unreal Tournament Pre-Alpha. You can play it while the community is working on it. It's pretty fun and they give you ton of stuff to do.
  17. A friend of me has this same stance versus the game. I know I can't convince you, so good luck on your search. It's not competetive, but I highly recommend Max Payne 1 and 2 if you're bored. You can skip 3, does not add to the great story.
  18. Dota 2 is amazing. I have spend nearly 1500 hours playing it and I'm still just learning how the game works. Ignore comments about russians and southern americans ruining your game, it's bullshit. Just play some matches and don't forget to add people who you've enjoyed playing with. Communication is key and this is what makes the game fun and full of surprises. It also has a big learning curve when it comes to mechanics, but for me that made it all more the fun. Just start off with a hero you like, and watch some tutorials on youtube so you won't quit it altogether after one match. It's a challenge all right.
  19. I think that a 450w would suffice, 400 is a bit too tight.
  20. I do not agree. I'd go for the 280 in any case, even if they'd be the same price. The extra GB of ram on the 280 is worth going for!
